Darkness; no thoughts in mind or traces of noise. Then a warm heat source brushed across my face. Slowly opening my eyes, I saw something I never once got the chance to look at. A beautiful stary night sky I was still so shocked of me being able to see that I hadn't noticed I was still alive. Glancing down I examined myself seeing that I had the hands of a child! "Ah! What's going on, where am I?" "Shush they're going to hear us Artarum."Whispered a little boy by my side. "Ikore we need to go now before they catch us. "Another little girl said by my side overwhelmed in panic.
After asking multiple times who this Artarum person is I decided to suck it up and listen to their directions of making a run for it. By that time, it was too late dark shadows crept behind us. "Aye man over here I see the escaped slaves." A deep voiced man shouted across the forest alerting his friends. We all then made a run for it towards the darker parts of the forest. Before one step was taken a fire wall surrounded us on all four sides. Three huge men walked through the fire wall and took out heavy chain cuffs. "Ah this shouldn't let your little magic powers slip out, now let's go back to the camp." What did they mean by magic powers? Covering our faces with brown sacs they led us to the camp and dropped us off in a steel cage full of other children.
"Well would you look what we have here a group of people who thought they were good enough to escape without us." A loudmouth red head girl with freckles and elf ears shouted. Everyone in the cage turned their heads quickly in curiosity. "No one asked for you to comment on what we did Ephilli" Ikore said. Ephilli went quiet crossed her arms and let out a big humph! Then choosing to distance herself she sat in the corner. Looking at my surroundings I saw most children having long ears like Ephilli or exotic eyes and hair colors. The only thing they had in common was their scrawny body types and their clothes on their body which was torn up resembling cloth rags.
"What's the matter Artarum you've been spacing out ever since we tried the escape route." Looking at Ikore I decided to stay quiet until I know the reason why I came to where ever this place is. Soon the sun was rising and all children were ordered to line up at the front of the cage. A big man with elf ears and grey hair came with a brown rusted key. "I'm going to open up the gates, I don't want no funny business now y'all hear me."
