The days are long and the nights feel short but its all for the love of football. If Leo wasn't the worlds best or paid to play, then he'd be playing it with no pay, just out of love for the sport. Leo feels that he owes everything to Barcelona and he feels that's his rightful place. Right there where it started, but internationals has started and he's back home in Argentina. He not only misses Barcelona and its beautiful environment but he misses his beloved team. They are teammates on the pitch and best friends off the pitch. It was as if he was friends with everyone, but that's because he is, Leo doesn't have a mean bone in his tiny body. Playing as captain of the Argentina international team is always a thrill, he is representing his home and his family. He loves to be able to give his home a great name for his is already something great alone. His family is always there to support him and his Argentina teammates are like a second family to him as well. Yet that is still not what he feels the problem is.
It was never the same after 2013 when Neymar showed up at FC Barcelona. He is a hell of a player and Leo believes together they are practically unstoppable. He is a tall, well everyone is tall to Leo, tanned man and tattoos up nobodies business. Ever since Leo first saw him he knew that nothing would be the same. After a few weeks of training and their first game Leo found Neymar not only gorgeous but absolutely incredible. His skills were very advanced for such a young player and now he is dear to his heart. Neymar invades Leo's mind on the pitch and at home before he sleeps, he is even there when he's doing something as mindless as food shopping. They are so alike but yet so different and it attacks Leo more than it should.
Here he was losing his mind at training and kicking himself in the ass for letting it drift back to Neymar. His lip was tightly between his teeth and his head was up in the clouds when Kun had pulled him harshly almost giving Leo a heart attack. "Leo, you could have broken your nose." He said slightly angry and slightly relieved, Leo's eyes were wide open and he was shaking his head snapping himself out of his day dream. He never saw the ball coming and Kun was right, if he hadn't been there Leo could have broken his nose from the power of a professionals kick. "Thanks, I'm sorry my mind is somewhere else." He said placing his hand on Kun's shoulder and patting it forcefully. "You know Leo, you've been pushing yourself pretty hard, don't think you could use a break? I can honestly handle this for today." Kun gestured to the rest of the teammates who, in his honest opinion, looked like a bunch of high schools pushing, shoving, and laughing at each other. Leo sighed running his fingers through his hair, pushing it back from his forehead. "I'm going back to my room, if you need anything call." He placed his hand tightly on Kun's shoulder, Kun nodded and took off running to the rest of the animal pack once Leo's hand left his shoulder.
Now without worrying he would break his face from an impact of a flying ball he rushed to a van that awaited him, flashes went off and hands stuck out around him begging for attention. Leo really didn't want to stop, he didn't feel like signing things or taking pictures. Yet his fans and his talent are what got him to be on top and he can't thank them enough, so a picture ot two won't kill him. His smile was off and his hand was shaking as he tried to get to as many fans as possible on his way to the van. A few asked if he was okay and he was actually surprised not only Kun noticed but fans noticed how off he was. He only smiled a little brighter and nodded his head to them. Leo would definitely be apologizing over Facebook tonight for how bad every ones pictures probably came out.
It took a half hour just to get out of the park without hitting someone, all the flashes and screaming were giving Leo a headache, he couldn't even think straight, once they were out of the mob it took them only ten minutes to actually get to the hotel. Leo was a little frustrated but he can't blame the driver or the fans either, he blamed himself for not getting his head on straight and he knew it would be a long night.
Neymar was so proud of his counrty, he loved Brasil with all his heart and soul. It had beautiful sights and landmarks, the tourist's couldn't get enough of it. But no one will ever be has proud as Neymar is in Brasil. Once becoming captain on the international football league he was so overwhelmed with happiness he could have passed out right then and there.
