Okay, I am betting most of you thought Emmaline would get kidnapped or killed, right? My friend, Evan, reviewed the first couple of chapters and said "Emmaline is going to die or get stolen, right? I know that is how it ends.". When he said that, I thought how people would predict that, and yet, somehow, that didn't seem right for her. But a stroke of luck hit me when I thought of the novel I had just finished: Anything But Typical. That story is about an autistic boy who loves to write, and he makes friends with a girl online, who he later finds out is blind (Spoiler Alert). That made me think; Could Emmaline be destined for that? And so, I finished the story.
