"(Y/n)?"

The small child turned around tears coming out of her eyes. When seeing who it was a big smile grew.

"DADDY!"

She ran to her father, crying her heart out. She clutched to his pant leg, clutching the fabric like he'lol disappear anytime. The older male placed a hand on her head and gently stroked her hair.

"Sweetie, what's wrong?"

"I missed you! I didn't know if you were going to be back!" She cried.

He sighed, and picked her up, placing her on his shoulders.

"Your Daddy will always be here for you, remember that."

He looked up and smiled. She looked down at him and smiled and wiped her tears away.

"Okay! Let's gooo!" She screeched happily.

If only life worked like that, but promises are meant to be broken, right?

"You stupid brat! You forgot to clean the floors!" The male roared.

Taking a swig from the glass bottle.

"I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!" She cried.

"Didn't mean to?! You're 11 years old how could you forget you lazy bi-"

"HEY! Don't you dare talk to our daughter like that!"

(Y/n) turned to see her mother and ran and hugged her crying.

"I-I-I didn't mean to mom!"

"It's okay sweetie, go to your room and take a deep breath and go work on homework." She hugged her.

Reluctantly, (Y/n) let go and ran to her room. Things were too chaotic for her to focus on homework, and from all the stress she fell asleep.

Face to face with each other, all there was light surrounding the two. (Y/n) was crying right in front of her dad, while he stared at her with a blank face.

"Y-you promised me that you'll always be here for me." She sobbed.

"I don't care anymore (Y/n), bye."

He started walking off and she started to sob more. It hurt to lose her dad to alcohol, and it hurt even more that he broke his promise.

"(Y/n)."

She jolted awake, panicking from the dream she had, she was panting over and over, sweat and tears were coming down. She looked around to the familiar but unfamiliar sight. She sat up and looked over to the night stand. There was a picture of her and Jayden in a frame and a lamp. She threw her legs over the side and stood up. She immediately sat back down clutching her head.

'What the hell happened?' She thought.

A groan came out, and before she could try and stand up again, someone came busting out the bathroom door. She looked over to see Jayden with a wet rag in his hand with a worried expression.

"Thank god you're okay." He sighed in relief, walking over and placing the girl to lay down again. Placing the warm rag over her forehead and covering her back up, he sighed.

"What happened?" She asked, too weak to get back up.

"That's nothing for you to worry about right now." He replied, giving her a smile.

"Are you hungry? Thirsty?"

"No."

"(Y/n) you haven't eaten anything since yesterday. You need to eat."

"What happened?" She asked again.

"I was getting gas and when I came back you fell asleep, so I brought you here."

"I feel fine, can you take me home?" (Y/n) asked sitting up again. She took the rag and placed it on the nightstand. When she looked at him, she was beyond terrified. The look he unconsciously gave her was dark.

"Sorry love but no." He muttered.

"Why?" She asked, her anxiety was increasing by the second.

"Because they'll keep us apart, no one will do that. I love you and you love me." He said.

"W-what?" He quickly went to hug her tightly.

"I love you! I can't hold it in anymore! I want to protect you, spoil you, have a life together with you! You're not leaving me. All those parasites were corrupting your beautiful head! I saved you!"

(Y/n) started to shake and tears were coming out of her eyes.

"J-Jayden. Please, just let me go. If you really do love me let me go. I won't say anything I promise." She whispered.

"I love you but I'm too selfish to let you go." He pulled away reluctantly.

"I will go get you some food and something to drink. Your health is important. Stay here." He said and walked off.

Closing the door, (Y/n) heard a faint click. She got up, now feeling a little better to successfully stand and walk, walking towards the door. She tried to open it but to her luck it didn't open. She went to the window and tried to open that too, but nothing worked. She huffed in frustration and looked around for an escape. She noticed the other nightstand and noticed another picture of the two.

'I don't remember taking those pictures with him.' She thought.

She then noticed another door, opening it, there were a lot of clothes in there. On one side was what looked like his clothes and the other looked like clothes she would wear. She picked a shirt up and noticed it was her size. Her eyes widened as she kept going through through the clothes and to her surprise they were her size. She ran out of the closet, quickly shutting the door. She ran back towards the door Jayden went out of and desperately tried to get out of the room. She aggressively kept turning the knob and started to slam on the door. When nothing was working, she slid to the ground and started to cry. She hugged her knees to her chest and laid her head on her knees.

'What am I going to do? Please don't let this be the end of me.' She thought and sobbed more.

While not being aware of an outsider hearing the whole thing on the other side.
