'Best friends' or not? (Part 2 )

A few months has passed since Roger and i ... did it. We never approached to talk about it, we just both ignored it as if it never happens before.

I was now dating a new guy. His name is Chris. Ive been dating him for almost 2 weeks now. I met him at one of the queen concerts.

I  just came back home after having dinner with Chris. I opened the door and i saw Roger leaning on the couch watching some kind of movie.

'Hey' i say as I close the door behind me.

'Hi Lis' he said still looking at the tv. 'Where have you been ? '

'Oh I had dinner with Chris' i said proudly.

'Oh Chris .. yeah..' he said looking at the ground.

'Are you alright Roger?' I ask

'Yeah just a little tired that's all' he said as i went to my room and changed into some comfy cloths.

Roger POV:
A few months ago after Lis and I had that .. well .. one time thing..
she started dating Chris.

From the fist moment I met him I thought he's a nice chap but i didn't like the fact that he was dating Lis.
I always found Lis attractive but after that one time thing... I started to catch more feelings for her. It's wired but I feel like I really want her, not just for sex but for everything else!
I want to be the guy who's dating her! Not anybody else.

As Lis came back to the living room she set next to me and leaned her head on my shoulder.

I turned my gaze to her and just couldn't stop looking at her beautiful face. She was so gorgeous and adorable, I could look at her for hours. God I want her so bad!
Brian always tells me that I should tell her how I feel about her but I never had the courage to do that. I'm scared it's going to ruin everything is between us now.

I let out a small sigh.

"Are you sure your just tired?" Lis asked

"Yeah I'm fine"

"What did you do accept hanging out with.." it took me time to even say his name properly "Chris?" I continued.

"Oh I was at his the whole day basically. He took me to this GREAT restaurant- which we have to go to with the others !- and then went to the park and got ice cream- which got all over his cloth-" she giggled. "And we-"

"That's nice" I cut her off with a serious tone and got off the couch.

"What happened?"

"Nothing I just remembered I have to do something." I said as I started going towards my room.

"Roger are you alright?" She said getting off the couch as well. I didn't answer.

"Would you please tell me what going on?" She asked And I didn't answer, instead I just went into my room and shut the door.

"Why are you angry at me!? Did I do something to you !?" She said through the door.

"You did nothing Lis."

"Then why are you so angry!?
You've been acting wired since I came back!" She said with a higher tone in her voice.

"perhaps Chris would know"

"How is Chris related to that!?"
I didn't answer.

After a few moments of silence I started to hear knocks on the door. They kept on going and they drove me crazy.

"Would you stop knocking on the damn door" I said.

"Would you please tell me why're you so angry!" She replied.

Finally I decided to step out. I opened the door slowly to find the girl standing in front of me.
She looked at me with a little anger in her eyes.

"So..? What the hell is wrong with you ?"

I said nothing just looked at the floor.
She brought her index finger to my chin and lifted it to her gaze.

"Would you please answer the question I've been asking you for the past half hour!" I didn't reply, just avoided eye contact.

"Roger Meddows Taylor would you please talk to me ! I can't solve it like that !"

I still didn't answer.

She let out a big sigh.

"WHY THE HELL ARE YOU SO ANG- ".
She screamed but then I cut her off, with saying the words I thought I would never say to her or to anyone:

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU LIS"
