Jimin was enjoying what he liked to call the rare peaceful moments in his life..aka, his working hours. It is the only time when his brothers leave him alone to deal with stuff himself. It was not like he wasn't good enough to handle weapons or fights, it was just that he was too smart enough to be confined on the battlegrounds alone. He is what they call the brain behind the operation...the mastermind.

Jimin could still remember those rich bully bastards in his school who pushed him around because he was an 'orphaned scholarship student' who survived by 'leeching' off them. They were always jealous of him because no matter how many private tutors they have, none of them was ever able to beat him in any exam. He aced every single exam he took, topped in every class, won every spot medal, and rocked every stage with his dance and music...

strangely, that little boy Hoseok reminds him of his teenage days. They were too much similar for Jimin's liking. Both were abandoned by their families, grew up in orphanages, ranked first in academics, having similar taste in music and dance, both being better than those bastards who had the luxury of having everything they wanted...yet still, both of them turned out to be two different people living in entirely opposite worlds.

Jimin survived all those years of hardships and poverty by anchoring himself to hatred, the thrive to be better than them, the need to crush them under his feet, to teach them who is in charge...to show them who is the Alpha. He can proudly say that none of those bastards who stood in his way is alive to tell the stories. He had hunted each and every one of them to the end of this world and watched them beg for his forgiveness before ripping their throat open with his own bare hands, His hands and face drenched in their blood.... it was euphoric. feeling their life leave their body little by little under his palms... the pain, the raw fear, the anguish...Jimin thrived in all of it. It was like a never ending quest, the more he killed the thirstier he became. Then onwards he never cared whether he was killing those who hurt him or killing an innocent. As long as it had a beating heart he would gladly set out for the hunt...there was no need for a motive. Jimin knew from even a younger age that he is no angel...he is a monster. Not because of any circumstances life threw at him..nor because of any people he met...he was just... born EVIL.

But the boy is different, no matter how much he looked into his background and details, he wasn't able to find anything evil in him. In fact, he was annoyingly good and perfect. It will be a lie if he says that he didn't find the boy interesting, especially considering the unhealthy amount of time he spends with Jungkook watching the boy's every action. How could he turn out to be this good when life constantly put him in trials....didn't he want revenge? did he forgive those people who threw him in the orphanage and never bothered to look back to see whether he is alive or not? Simply look at the congested place he lives.. doesn't he want something better? The curiosity is eating Jimin from the inside...maybe that is why a part of him is wanting Hoseok to find them. He wants to know what he will do when he finds the murderers of his beloved brother. Will he choose to kill us? to make his hand bloody. Does that boy even have enough guts to do that? How much more pain it will take to taint the innocence and purity of his heart?

However, the progression of their search is kind of alarming. When Namjoon said to wait for what Hoseok will find, he didn't expect any miracle. Where the hell will that boy even look for any connections that will tie Mark to their organisation when he had made it his personal mission to wipe out every single evidence of their contact. But that damn file was unexpected. None of them expected Mark to leave something like that behind for the kid...those reports may not give many clues. But if he is smart enough, the chance of him finding them won't be as impossible as they thought. The reports are well chosen, perfectly left in a way to lead him to them. But his friends had done a good job of diverting the boy's attention. His brothers are relaxed because of the way they convinced Hoseok of the chances of it being left by someone else. But if he is in that boy's situation and all he got was that single file with a bunch of reports which doesn't look important enough to be collected and saved, he will surely dig until he reaches the bottom of it. And if there is even one percent of chance that their similarities in life situations must have rubbed something on their character too, that boy will definitely look further into it.
