Hey Upper East Siders, Gossip girl here with some interesting questions about our little heiress. It seems that Ellie Westfield has been spotting in the park, alone. I'm wondering if our little socialite is bored with Nate away on family business. Wonder if anyone can keep her mind off things. We know one person who might be interested in the job.Ellie laid on her bed, scrolling through her social media, wondering what she was going to do today. Nate was away with his grandfather on family business. He hadn't messaged her once. She chalked it up to him being busy. Ellie sighed, what was she going to do. Caroline was away at a meet, Serena and Blair were also away, dealing with an issue with Chuck. Finally, she decided she needed to get out and get some fresh air. She packed her tartan blanket and her favorite book and headed to the kitchen to grab some snacks.
"And where do you think you are going?" Ellie stopped, rolled her eyes and turned around to face Cecilia, her mother's assistant.
"I'm going to the park to read and get some fresh air."
"Don't you think you should be studying?" Cecilia asked, her tone harsh.
"Already did that. I'll be back later." Ellie rushed into the kitchen to see Lucy, the Westfield chef. "Hi Lucy."
"Hi Miss Ellie. Can I get you something?"
"I'm just getting some snacks. Going to the park to read." Ellie popped a grape in her mouth.
Lucy smiled at the girl. "I get some grapes cheese and crackers together for you." She hands off the snacks and bottle of water to her. "Dinner is at 7, Miss Ellie."
"Ooh. What are we having?"
"Beef Wellington. Your father requested it."
"Sounds good Lucy. I'll be back in time." She headed downstairs where Roger was waiting.
"Miss Ellie."
"Hey Roger. Can we go to the park please?"
"Certainly Miss." He took her tote from her and she climbed into the town car. He headed to Central Park and parked on the curb to help her out and grab her bag. "Ellie, just call me when you are ready to head home."
"Thank you, Roger." Ellie headed in, looking for a quiet spot to lay out. Finally, she found one away from the main path but still visible. She laid everything out and sat to start reading. But she couldn't concentrate. Her mind kept drifting to Carter. Ever since the luncheon a few weeks before, Ellie hadn't seen him. She had started tutoring Caroline a couple of times a week and Mrs. Baizen had invited her to dinner every time. But Carter never showed, and Ellie was scared to admit that she was disappointed. She had been dreaming about the stormy blue eyes that looked at her as if he was seeing her soul. She ran his words in her head.
But I would love you. I would love to get to know this body. Oh, the things I would love to make you feel... I wish I could get to know you, gorgeous. What you love, what makes you happy. To know what you taste like.
She shook her head from the thoughts. She was with Nate, who loved and cared for her. Except he hasn't contacted her all weekend. She sighed and put her head down, back into her book.

Carter had never hated working so much as he did now. Westfield Industries were in full swing in launches for its new products and Carter's team was scrambling in organizing the events. Some days he didn't arrive until 10 PM, a heated plate of dinner waiting for him. Gregory, of course, was over the moon with Carter's work ethic and did reward Carter with bonuses and such. But Carter was still upset, especially when he found out that Ellie was tutoring Lina during the week.
