A 'normal' day at practice 

Hi! I'm very excited to start this! Just incase you didn't know I would like to clarify that this is in a universe where wizards and magic are very common. It is also an omegaverse! They're going to be in college in this! Not in high school. We're just gonna pretend they all decided to go to the same college for vollyball. Hinata and kageyama are second years so around 19-20.

On the outside it seemed as though Kageyama and Hinata were the closest of teammates and friends. But that didn't happen to be the entire truth. Sure they were teammate...but friends? Kageyama could be ruthless to Hinata at times to the point where Hinata almost cries. Hinata didn't know why the boy hates him so much. He didn't think he did anything wrong.

They had barley had a few conversations together. All Kageyama wanted was so obvious, get along for the team but nothing more. It made Hinata kind of sad...he wanted to get to know him more.

Practice was beginning and Hinata shyly looked over at Kageyama only to be met with a disgusted look. Why can't he be nice to me? Am I that bad? Hinata thought as he made his way up to the starting line.

It had been this way sense they met and Hinata tried to make amends but Kageyama never seemed to be interested. Instead he was always teasing the omega or making fun of his playing skills. If Hinata had to choose he would rather Kageyama completely ignore him then pick on him.

They began practice as always. The two boys playing in sync together making the team proud. But Hinata couldn't help but feel a tug on his heart at the way Kageyama was looking at him. It hurt that Kageyama hated him so much when all he wanted was so be closer to him.

Practice went smoothly expect for the glances Hiants could feel from Kageyama. Why does he keep looking at me? He thought, but chose to ignore it and focus on practice.

Practice closed to an end and the team said their goodbyes heading to the lockers to change. Hinata changed quickly before making his way to the door. Not that he was in a rush, but he hates being in the locker room. Just as Hinata was exiting the gym he saw Kageyama sprinting towards him. This startled Hinata so he tried to walk faster away.

"No no no don't think you're getting away. I need to talk to you."

"Kageyama please I'm sorry what did I do wrong?" Kageyama looked down at Hinata confused. Why did he look like he was about to cry? He had thought.

"I-" Kageyama stopped almost letting his pride take over, but he knows he needs to do this. "I'm really sorry for the way I've been treating you lately..uh I was wondering if you wanted to hang out to get to know each other more."

Kageyama always had a small grudge against Hinata since the beginning of the season. So he had never really tried to make friends with him... But lately Kageyama's wolf  has been begging him to be near Hinata. As much as he tried to ignore it and stay away from Hinata it only grew. It scared him how much more he wanted to know about him. Did the omega feel it as well?

Hinata held a blank expression on his face confused. "You...want to hang out...with me?" Kageyama nodded.

"Why...I thought you always hated me?"

"I...it's not that it's just that...I was jealous of your abilities..."

"Oh my god Kageyama jealous of me??"

"Shut up idiot. I should've never told you."

Hinata smiles with pride and begins walking towards the exit of the school. "Well let's go then."

"Go where dimwit?"

Kageyama's words still never change. But...Hinata could feel the change in how he was acting. Almost as if he was trying to be nice, and that made Hinata smirk. He felt calm around the alpha and his scent. It was odd to him sense he had always been scared around Kageyama and his strong scent. But now...his scent was calming?
