Chapter 13

"Did you find the girl?" asks Dr. Sky.

" We had her but then she has too many people to help her out. Don't worry we will deliver her to you soon. We will not disappoint you this time" says one of the men searching for Adria.

" You better deliver her to me soon" says Dr. Sky and cuts the call.

It's dinner time at the Woods and everyone else have settled down for the dinner. Coalton and Stallion are setting the table while Mason and Adria are setting up the dishes on the table. Kate is sitting and watching everyone with a smile.

"How was the day?" asks Stallion kissing Kate on her lips. As usual Kate turns pink and he kisses her again.

" It was good. Now that I have Coalt, Is, Adria and Ivan to help it's better now. Am thinking of taking an off from next week" says Kate and Stallion is happy.

" Mam please you just can't barge in like that... Mam please " says Ivan rushing behind a furious woman wanting to talk to Stallion

" Mr. Woods" says the woman looking clearly pissed.

" Yes" say all the three Woods men

" I mean Mr. Stallion Woods"

" Yes I am Stallion" says Stallion standing his full length.

The woman steps back a little and looks at everyone until her eyes lands on Adria.

" That girl is a thief" says the woman and Coalton stands in front of Adria and glares at the woman.

" What? Who the hell are you? What the hell are you saying?" scolds Christian

"My name is Victoria and I was her neighbour. She stole something and ran away and hid here" says Victoria

" What? What do you mean she stole? What the hell did she steal"asks Kate now getting angry

They suddenly hear Ivan bursting out laughing and walks away.

Everyone are confused as to why would he laugh at such a serious thing.

" She... She stole my lingerie " says Victoria

Everyone gape and look at Adria.

Adria has her signature poker face.

" I did not steal it. I asked her to give me her lingerie but she refused so I just took it from her and came" says Adria brazenly

" Why would you do that?" asks Coalton not able to believe her.

" You asked me to" says Adria

Everyone are now looking at Coalton questioningly as to why would he say such a thing.

" What? Why would I ask you to steal Adria" grits out Coalton.

"Didn't you tell me that I need to get some lingerie from Victoria so I asked her and she refused even when I said I would pay her. I didn't want to disappoint you so I just took it from her. I still haven't worn it thought" says Adria seriously

Now the whole family is looking at Coalton and he feels so uncomfortable and he looks away.

" Ms. Victoria we are very sorry for the inconvenience. We will make sure that your belongs will reach your home by morning " says Mason

Victoria nods her head and walks away.

Ivan comes in still laughing and holding his stomach. Looking at him everyone burst out laughing.

" Sweetheart what Coalton ment to say was to buy lingerie from Victoria's Secret it's a lingerie brand" says Christian placing a hand on Adria's cheek

"I will take you tomorrow and help you select whichever looks good on you" says Ivan instantly

"NO!!I will take her and you can help Kate" says Coalton standing in front on Adria.

Ivan shrugs and settles down for the dinner next to Adria and stars talking to her.

Coalton is miffed and is starting at Ivan.

Stallion keeps looking at Adria and catches something that none look at. He knows he needs some information and he needs to get them fast.

After dinner everyone retires to bed. Coalton walks Adria to her room and kisses her head and wishes her a goodnight.

Adria is looking at him with no emotions at all. Stallion looks at the whole thing and it doesn't sit well with him. He is worried about Coalton, about him getting hurt in case Adria is playing some dirty game. He needs to watch out for both.

The next day Stallion calls up Ivan and Robbie and asks them to meet him at his office.

" What's up Stal? Why did you ask us to meet you urgently?" asks Robbie

" It's about Adria. I need full information on her" says Stallion

" What? Why? What do you think she is up to " asks Ivan

" I have my suspicions about her and just want to know if it's true or not" says Stallion looking outside the window

Ivan and Robbie exchange looks. They know if Stallion has seen something that others haven't then it's not a good sign.

Stallion, Ivan and Robbie walk out of their building and start walking towards a restaurant to talk more about the woke thing.

While walking Stallion bumps into a huge guy.

" Sorry man!" says the guy and picks up the things he had in his hands. That's when all three men see the picture of Adria and they are shocked.

The three don't react immediately and walk away. Robbie decides to follow the man and try to get some information.

As Robbie starts to follow the guy he sees the man  asking people around if they have seen the girl in the picture. Robbie gets tense thinking that Adria must be in some trouble. He immediately messages Stallion about it.

Stallion asks him to get the guy to thier old building so that they can start asking him about her.

" Hey man!" says Robbie

" Yeah"

" I think I have seen that woman"

" Really! Where? "

" What do I get in return? "

" Look we get 20 million if we find her I will share some with you. Thought you don't look like someone who needs money"

" Looks can be deceptive" says Robbie and walks the man towards his car.

" Stallion!! Come quickly it's Kate and Erica" says Adria in a cracked voiced and Stallion's blood runs cold.
