Chapter 9

"Ok dear what would you like to do?"

" I have never been to a kitchen like  I have no practical knowledge"

" No problem sweetheart. We can just start with the grating"

" Yesss" says Adria happily

Adria finishes grating and now Mrs. Jones has asked her to chop some vegetables.

It's been an hour and Adria has still not finished cutting the veggies.

Christian comes to see what's for lunch, is when she sees Mrs. Jones sitting on a chair and looking at Adria like she has grown two heads.

Adria is cutting a carrot and measuring it with a scale for every inch and cutting it. Christian has her eyebrows touching her hairline. Kate and Erica also come to the kitchen and have the same expression as Christian.

" Yess I finished cutting a carrot" says Adria proudly

The ladies look at each other and Christian clears her throat.

" Yes dear you have cut them beautifully. Uhu why don't we allow Mrs. Jones to finish up with the lunch and we can go and do something else" says Christian with a smile

" Oh but I like to help in the kitchen "says Adria reaching out for another carrot

" Uh huh... Adria why don't you help up in the garden instead, you will like it too"says Kate quickly because she knows at this rate the lunch will be ready by tomorrow.

"Oh ok" says Adria and joins the ladies.

" It was fun cooking in the kitchen. I have never cooked either than boiling some eggs. I would love to learn  from Mrs. Jones to cook. You think Coalton will like my cooking " asks Adria with her usual poker face

The ladies can't decipher if Adria really liked it or if she is simply saying it.

Adria has no filter between her head and mouth she just says what she feels like.

"I like you all. You have such a nice family and friends. You know Ivan said that he would kiss me if Coalton doesn't. But I like it when Coalton kisses. Why doesn't he kiss me?" says Adria with no emotions

Christian, Kate and Erica gape at her revelation and her body language is throwing them off the loop. Since her face and her statements are a total opposite.

Though Adria says she wants to kiss Coalton she doesn't show the enthusiasm instead it's the poker face she has.

Christian is in deep thought if the girl really likes her son or if she is playing around with him. But she also thinks if Adria is suffering from issues regarding emotions like if she isn't able to show appropriate emotions.

" Adria dear... Do you like Coalton? " asks Christian

" I don't know. But all I know is he makes me feel different. I want to be with him all day and keep kissing him all day because I felt very different when I kissed him first. I want to feel like that again but he wouldn't kiss me. I have never felt like that when I kissed others" reveals Adria

Kate and Erica have a smile listening to her. They love the fact that Adria is so open and so naive. They want her to be a part of their family.

" I will not allow Ivan anywhere near Adria. She is part of my family and she is Coalton's, even if that dumbass of my son doesn't know it. But I will need Ivan's help to make Coalton jealous " says Christian looking at Kate and Erica.

The three ladies have a sinister smile on their face.

Mason and Stallion have overhead the conversation.

" OMG I don't like the look on the ladies" confesses Stallion

" Coalton had it coming. Leave it to the ladies specially your mom in meddling with her kids lives" sighs Mason

" It's not all that bad Dad. I got Kate because of Mom so I am sure Coalton will have Adria sooner or later" says Stallion and both men walk back inside.

Christian calls up Ivan.

" Mom! " says Ivan from the phone

" Ivan!"smiles Christian hearing his voice. She treated all of Stallion and Coalton friends like her own.

" What's up?"

" First and foremost you will not kiss Adria. You know she is Coalton's even if that stupid doesn't agree"

"MOM!! I would never do that. Coalt and Stal are more like brothers to me than friends. I was just messing around with them"

" Good. But I want you to mess around for real this time. Make Coalton jealous and I want him to understand what he has for Adria. That imbecile needs a push  in such matters I guess"

" Consider it done" says Ivan having a goofy smile.

The ladies start with the operation- "Jealous Coalton "

The ladies huddle into a room. They leave out Adria knowing she will happily go and tell Coalton about their operation. Even Mrs. Jones is a part of it.

Stallion and Mason are looking at the ladies getting into the home office of Christian. Mason and Coalton can't take the excitement anymore and switch to see through the cctv.

They see "Jealous Coalton" written on the board. Christian calls up someone and Ivan is seen on the screen of their room.

Stallion and Mason have a heart attack. They know this is something major.

"Ivan! Good to see ya" says Erica

" Same here child " says Ivan. He winks and blows a kiss towards Kate and Kate smiles.

" I am gonna kill him one day" sighs Stallion.

Mason is trying to control his smile.

Christian starts off to write on the board
1. Flowers
2. Breakfast
3. Lunch
4. Movie
5. Disco and Drunk
6. Date
7. Party, dance, Esma and propose

Mason has his eyes popping out of his socket.

" Jesus Christ. Dad!! At this rate Mom will get Ivan married to Adria" says a wide eyed Stallion

" Keep quite Stallion!!Do you want your arse whipped? Just go with the flow ok. Don't reveal you know anything please for Coalton's sake" begs Mason
