Leaving |Chapter 1|

Autumns POV

Today was the boarding day I had to leave at 1:00.

Arrived
I start to walk up to the security the presence felt so depressed like everything was in slow motion. I felt a hand grab my wrist.

One last kiss?" Cameron asked with tears forming in his eyes.

I grab his cheek with my right hand. I stare at him for a second and get on my tippy toes and place my lips on his. But only to release a second later leaving him in a pile of sadness.

"I love you" he said clearly. I turned and looked back at him once in the eyes then down. I faced forward once again and started to walk back into the slow motion depressed state. I gave my ticket to the flight attendant slowly.

Before I walked on I turned back to see Cameron with his hands over his face crying so he couldn't see me.

"I love you too" I whispered quietly. Of course he didn't hear but I know he felt it.

I sat down alone on the window seat I plugged in my ear buds. I went through my contacts through my phone. I hovered my thumb over Cameron's contact picture. I figured if we couldn't date we can't. But when we talk, or even see each other we can't help ourselves. I might as well delete him... Out of my life. I deleted his contact leaving my heart behind with him. I decided to post something.

I took a picture of my hand left empty only holding the promise ring. (Cameron and Autumn took pictures of them holding hands all the time.) I captioned it.

We broke our promise. It feels so wrong but its right. Right? I captioned it.

Not more than five minutes later a trend started. #staystrongcautumn begun. I found out Cameron posted a picture of his hand about 2 minutes ago with the same caption but with that hash tag.

Why does he have to make this so hard for me? I thought in my mind. I felt a lump in my thought daring me to cry. A tear flowed I quickly wiped it away. No! I won't cry I told myself. I calmed down and went to sleep.
