2 months had passed and Hikari was getting used to being alive again. She also became close with the twins, even Yuichiro rarely talk to her but eventually, he warmed up to her. Although she can't still look at Muichiro's eyes.

Hikari was currently reading a book in the library, as she positioned herself beside the window, watching the twins play with wooden swords.

Yushiro had mentioned that some of the breathing styles were passed on to younger generations to make sure that it won't die down, especially since demons weren't totally erased.

A knock woke Hikari from her thoughts as a small creaking of the door rang through the room.

"Hakari-sama, Yushiro-sama is requesting for you in his office" a kakushi peaked her head on the door, looking at her.

"Please tell him I'm on my way" Hikari closed her book, glancing at the twins for the last time.

"Yushiro you called for me?" Hikari peeked inside the room and saw Yushiro sitting on his swivel chair facing his computer, brows furrowed.

Yushiro motioned her to sit, and return his gaze towards the computer.

"Hakari, something important came up"

"What is it?"

"For the past months, we received reports about unusual deaths around Tokyo. It looks like a demon work" Yushiro stated with a worried look.

Hakari confusedly looked at him.

"You told me that demons this day weren't this active so why the sudden change of events?"

"That's what I've been trying to figure out. Do you know anything about it?" Yushiro moved the computer, showing the pictures that some slayers had taken.

It was a man in his 30's quietly eating a dead girl in an alleyway. The demon's features were slightly distorted because of the lighting. The torso of the victim was torn, a large gash on the stomach. The footage made Hikari uncomfortable since it's been a long time she has seen demons and blood.

"Looking at the photo, It looks like a weak one. Were the slayers killed this demon?" she side-eyed Yushiro.

"They did thankfully before the demon could hurt someone else" Yushiro replied and typed something on his computer and turned it again to Hikari

"It seems like Muzan had established new sets of Uppermoons. She's the only one who was frequently spotted, but this girl wouldn't do anything other than observe some slayers"

Hakari looked at the pic that was taken at night, the girl had black hair, round eyes, pinkish lips. Her eyes were crimson as it glows in the darkness of the night

"I've already sent the twins on night patrol, to kill any demons lurking at our area" Hikari looked at Yushiro, surprised by the fact that the twins were doing patrol.
