Hi I'm Alexa, and I am just a normal girl living a normal life in a normal city of New York. I woke up today rather later than I expected. Perhaps the cause might have been because I stayed until 12 am in the morning last night... Or mabey I was just too tired to wake up early. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, and with a sight of boredness I proceeded to the kitchen. I made some avocado toast and sat at the table alone, I had a very sad life. I didn't have anyone I could talk to, or share my ideas. My friends were in different countries all over the world, so I could have seen them only virtually and just for a few hours. And my parents were at the countryside and I could only see them once in two months. "Not a very good life" you might be thinking, yes, I know it's definitely not the life I wanted... or even expected.
Every day, in the morning I would go to the park and write in my journal. Everything that I write in my journal is a secret only I get to see and write in it. I also never said anything about the journal to my friends, and even to my parents! The journal is the only thing that can consume my pain, and I would feel so much better after writing in it. I started going to the park and writing in my journal a few months ago, and I find it very helpful to help you with your mental health. I was watching the ducks swim and dive in the water. They had so much fun. I wish I was a duck.
It was 12 pm and the sun was really hot. I decided I would go home, and watch T. V or read a book. On my way back I went to the grocery store to buy some cheese and milk. I was four blocks away from my house, near a small resturant called "The Casa", I never get to go to this resturant, but I'm sure I will some day.
I was crossing the street when I saw a limping dog across me, on the other side of the street. I hesitated for a while to either follow the dog or go home. I decided I would follow the dog. I was following the dog for nearly half an hour, on the never ending street. I didn't even know where I was, I didn't glance up, I was just keeping both eyes on the dog. It seemed like he needed some help. He made a turn to a really small path, and there he layed down. - Omg, it was a she, and she had puppies. At first I thought it was a boy but now I see that she is a mother of one small puppy, almost newborn. I smiled. I made a glance of something that seemed to appear from the darkness of the street....
