Today was just another normal day inside of the Golden Dawn base.

With Hamon telling some jokes around and laughing out of nowhere. Alecdora standing outside the Captain's office and sometimes would write a report.

His loyalty towards the Golden Dawn was really admirable but sometimes it would be out of the line.

Y/n would sometimes hear him muttering to himself, something like he was counting whenever Captain William would call by his name.

One day, she even heard him swore under his breath, whispering about how he was furious because Yuno's number surpassed on his own.

That made Y/n mad.

She knows- everyone actually on this base knows that he's loyal to William and hates Yuno. Sure he was loyal, but keeping tracks of how many times William calls Yuno by his name? Talk about obsession.

Yuno also knew about this too, but he said to ignore it and let him count numbers until he get tired.

Langris is still being held by a few mages downstairs. He was still unconscious and they wouldn't allow us to visit Langris for our sake. They didn't know what would happen if he used his grimoire on us, too.

And on the other side of the hall, Y/n and Klaus were playing chess, sitting on the wooden chair with Mimosa, Yuno and Letoile watching.

Fun fact that Y/n is a very good player when it comes to chess. Klaus always loses when it comes to Y/n, he would sometimes throw the chess away when he felt really frustrated.

Yuno would just look at them innocently, silently learning on how to play by watching the two.

While Mimosa and Letoile would insult and talk shit about Klaus because of his play.

"NO— WAIT! THAT'S UGH!" Klaus groaned and rubbed his face.

"No hard feelings, right?" Y/n said with a smirk, leaning back on the chair.

"Not yet, I can still win this." Klaus grumbled.

"What, are you Asta now?"

Y/n sighed and then moved one piece and another one before taking one material from Klaus. Her opponent was watching her move with his clenched teeth, he only had six pieces left with Y/n having ten on her side.

"Why did you move two pieces at the same time? Isn't that against the rules?" Yuno asked besides me, leaning slightly.

"That's a Castling move," I said and started explaining how it works with Yuno listening carefully. "But you can't castle any time you want, though. " Y/n finished with her nose in the air. She was mentally proud of herself when she watched the raven guy face perked up a little.

Another point for Y/n.

"You're so bad at this Klaus." Letoile said, pushing back her glasses looking at him in disbelief.

Klaus ignores her before putting another piece on the board. "Shut up."

"That's because you're so serious and a worrywart, Klaus." Mimosa giggled, receiving a loud laugh coming from Y/n when Klaus made an offending face.

But her laugh soon stopped when suddenly- someone barged into the big door.

All of us whipped our heads to the door as the hall suddenly became quiet.
