08: To the Heart Kingdom!☘

"Thank you for coming Y/n, I'm sorry if I bothered you."

"Not at all." Y/n politely reply, kneeling Infront of the Captain of the Golden Dawn, inside his office.

"I'm glad, I suppose that you don't know the reason why I called you here." William said with a smile.

Y/n shook her head.

"Yesterday, I received a letter from my dearest friend, Yami. It says that there's a huge curse in the Heart of the Kingdom. He said that they want to find something about that devil's curse.

Apparently, that Kingdom has a bunch of its own unique trap spells, set up along its border so if they mess up, our Kingdom will probably be found. My friend likes to send another squad there, that's why I called you here." William finished, still having a smile plastered on his face.

"What do you say?" He asked, watching the girl lift her face and look at him with full determination.

"Anything to save this Kingdom."

He grinned.

"But can I say something, Captain?"

"Sure."

"About the Kingdom of the Heart,
I think Mimosa mentioned going to that Kingdom, she told us that there were some nobles going there like they were exchange students."

"I see..."

"So, I think Mimosa will be more suitable on this mission, Captain."

William smiled. "I've already talked to her about this too, Y/n. That's why I decided that the two of you will be joining the Black Bulls mission, and thank you for the information. I'll write a letter back to Yami and inform him also."

The girl looked at him with widened eyes. "It's a pleasure, I'll do my best to help them."

'That's the spirit.' William thought while smiling at my figure. "I'm counting on you, Y/n."

"Yes, sir!" Y/n stood up before giving a salute.

"What did the captain tell you?" Alecdora said he was just standing outside William's office and was now asking me questions when he watched me walk outside the room.

Y/n rolled her eyes and continued to walk. "That's not really your business." She muttered, earning a frown to Alecdora.

"But why? We are allies, you should tell me what happened back there." He said, desperately wants to have his questions answered.

Y/n gave him a one sided glare. "There was a mission." She bluntly said making the taller one perked up at this.

"A mission? Can I come too? I'll be the one wh—"

"Woah, woah. This mission has a limit of two, okay?" Y/n said with a frown. The heck?

"Then we can go together—"

"The Captain said that it will be me and Mimosa, only." She sharply said, raising her voice a little when she said the word 'only.'

Alecdora threw her a glare for not letting her finish his sentence. "Who do you think you are, cutting me off like that? I think you have forgotten who is older here, newbie. Know your limits." He spat out as Y/n only looked to the side and rolled her eyes.

'is that a threat?'

"I've actually been working here for almost a year, so..." She trailed off knowingly with a small smirk.
