Gaja and Y/n face eachother.

Y/n charge at him by the use of her explosion. Gaja stretch his hands out and use his magic Tenjiolia but Y/n easily destroy it by firing an explosion at the lighting magic.

She clicked her tongue when Gaja spell start to chase after her. She flew around until she appeared Infront of him. When she was about to hit him. His magic appeared above her and hit the top of her head as she fall on the ground.

'Shit.' Y/n thought while struggling to get up, ' I've been sparring with him for days now, and I still can't get a hit in!'

"If I wasn't holding back, you'd be in far worse shape." Gaja said and planted his feet on the ground, "Your extremely rare power, physical strength that you've trained to you limit, and your friends are what have led you to victory thus far. But the enemy we're about to face is far too powerful. If you cannot defeat me on your own, you will not be able to defeat the devil." He uttered and watch her stand up straight and wipe the dust on her chin before looking at him with full determination.

"Please let me have another try!"

'is it her unwavering willpower that has strengthened her to this point?' Gaja thought to himself, 'No, it's not just her. Some of the mages who came from the Clover Kingdom have already started creating techniques of their own.'

Y/n charge again with her explosion readying in her hands. Gaja fires a lighting spell as the both of their magic clash together.

Y/n launches herself again into the air, Gaja flew to the side to avoid the explosion but Y/n, unexpectedly transform herself into an exploding pinwheel to close the distance. Gaja planted his feet onto the ground with Y/n figure Infront of him. When her fingertips was about to touch him. Gaja dodge it causing Y/n to miss as she bounces herself off the ground and use more explosion to flank Gaja from behind. Gaja eyes widened when Y/n fist collide on his cheeks sending him to the other side of the forest.

The lighting boy put a pressure on his feet making him stop sliding out of the forest. He wiped his cheeks with the back of his hands. He jumped when Y/n launch herself to him, her explosion was met with the ground instead of him causing a shockwave.

"If I can figure out how your technique works, I can figure out many ways to deal with it." After he said that, Gaja stretch out his hands as a big yellow circle appears above them.

Y/n lift her head and realized that the circle was directly pointing towards her. Her eyes widened at the sight. The spell that he use when She, Mimosa, Noelle, Asta and Finral first met him at the Heart Kingdom.

And before she knows it. The big lightning strike down to her and hit her until her body made a big hole in the ground.

"Let's finish it here, you did well getting your first hit." Gaja said and lower himself down.

Y/n got a hard time standing on her feet as she felt her arms throbbed in pain.

"It appears as though you're becoming stronger in your own way." He said with a slight amusement tone but his face still stayed stoic, "You were able to manipulate a magic with high potential freely and had a good grasp of application as well. You're an outstanding talent that's already good enough to recruit as a guardian like me. However, you are overdoing it. You use too much mana that cause your arms already reached its limit in a very short amount of time, just like earlier when you launch yourself at me I can sense your mana going down in a very rapid time. The Mages of the Heart Kingdom borrow power from natural mana. Depending on the level of their Mana Method, they will have unlimited use of their mana. Which means that so long as your attacks don't reach me, my mana is limitless." Gaja eyes didn't leave my figure while saying those words to me. Y/n listen carefully, feeling his words sank into her mind.
