This weekend was quite something and what was next? Monday. Another fucking monday, just great. Not! Although... School doesn't suck as much as it used too. I have a girlfriend, a soulmate, and I love her! And the best thing? She loves me. Fucking cute, way out of my league, April. SHE loves ME. I still can't believe this is actually happening. "Are you finally done?" Mom's voice interrupts my thoughts. "I'm coming!" I yell to my mother. After about 20 minutes I'm finally downstairs. "What were you doing? You're gonna be late for school!" My mom notes disapproving. I eat my breakfast as soon as possible. "I'm sorry, just lost in thought, I gotta go!" I answer with my mouth still half full and I run out of the door, jump on my bike and start cycling as if I'm trying to keep up with April, which I can tell you is impossible, she fucking travels at the speed of light. Finally at school, I am actually quite early because I hurried too much. "Hey." April greets me, smiling her beautiful cute smile. "Hi." I answer, still totally out of breath. "Jesus, Liz. What have you done?" April laughs. "I... I thought I was... Was gonna be... Be late." I try to explain. "Calm down." April smiles. Then the bell rings and we gotta go to our first class. After school April asks if I will go shopping with her, explaining that she really needs something new. "Sure." I answer, and smile. "Thank you." April smiles, and then kisses me. She kisses me! In the middle of the schoolyard! When April pulls back she laughs at the sight of my shocked face. I feel like everybody was looking at us, but for the first time ever, I didn't even care. Maybe I needed her to pull me out of the closet. I am happier than I've ever been, I love April and April loves me! The whole world is allowed to see that. Having that figured out, I quickly kiss her back as sign of approval. April smiles. "Congratulations, you're out of the closet." She whispers in my ear. "Let's go!" I laugh. After about an hour my phone rings. "Fuck! I didn't tell my mother I'd be later!" I exclaim when I look at the screen and quickly pick up. "Where are you?" I hear my mom's clearly furious voice. "I'm so sorry, Mom!" I apologize. "April asked me to go shopping with her and I totally forgot to tell you!" "I've been worrying like crazy." Mom answers, now sounding a bit less mad. "I am really sorry, Mom." I apologize again. "We won't be long." "I'm just glad you're alright." Mom answers, now calmed down. "You better not be long!" Mom laughs. "Are you gonna leave me already? " April asks, pretending to be devastated by the fact. "I'm sorry. I should've told my mother." I answers. "She knows where you are now, you can stay." April says a bit puzzled about my answer. "That's not how it works." I answer. "My mother had the right to know where I am, she worried like crazy because she didn't know where I was, so..." I try to explain. "What a lot of crap." April interrupts me. "She really has you trained well." She says disapproving. "What do you mean?" I ask. "Don't you go home when your parents are worried about you?" "The only thing they worry about is their jobs, but that's not sad, it was when I was younger, but now it's awesome." April answers. "Doesn't sound fun to me." I answer. "I can't imagine a life without my mother." "Well I can, in fact... They won't be home until late tonight, want to come over? April suggests. "Sure, I'll just call my mother real quick." I answer, but before I can male the call, April graps my phone. "She knows your out, we're going to my place." She says. "But I always..." I try. "Rules are made to be broken." April laughs, putting my phone in her pocket. And that's the end of it, no discussion. We are going to April's place.
