Scarlett POV :

I was at the coffee shop when emmet one of my dad's assistant enter. He immediately goes to me and told me to follow him.

~Twenty minutes later~

I enter my father's office. I was annoyed and he could see it I sat down on the lather chair in front of his desk.

"So what was so important that you sent Emmet to bring me here ? "

"Hi Scarlett yes I'm fine and you ? Where are your manners ?" He said a bit angry.

"I'm sorry dad but I have a lot of work and Chris and Sebastian's wedding planning is taking me a lot of time too I'm just stressed and don't have a lot of time." I say very quick I'm not sure he understood everything.

"I understand but I have something important that I need to tell you" He say eventually sitting on is desks chair.

"Go ahead I'm listening" I say getting a little more comfortable.

"So Scarlett why I told Emmet to bring you here is for announce you that you re getting married. You're getting married with Y/n Downey. My friend Robert she's his daughter."

My jaw drops and I was going to say something but raised his hand telling me he wasn't done.

"So you're going to marry her and with thst we're going to do a merge so the company stays in the family. And you future children will assure the future of the company." He says looking at me in the eyes.

Did I heard well ? He told I was going to marry a girl ? Don't get me wrong I'm not homophobic I'm even bisexual but I never saw myself maried with a woman. But what shocked me the most is did he says children ?

I went back to my senses and reply "I don't think so."

"You don't have the choice Scarlett"

"Oh yes I have the choice it's MY life and MY decision" I say getting up from my seat almost yelling.

"Now you calm down and listen !" He say getting up to. We both sat down again.

"Like I said you don't have the choice. The arrangement is already done. We're going to sign the contract this afternoon and you're gonna be there." He says firmly.

"So I- I don't have the choice" I say as I realised that I didn't had the control of my life anymore.

"No you don't have I'm sorry. If there was another way I wouldn't have done that" He says with guilt in his voice.

"You can keep your apologise for yourself" I told him getting up and heading out of his office.

I ran to my car and ride back to my apartment as quick as possible. When I finely enter my leaving room my I sat on my couch and break down.

I was going to marry a stranger. What if she was violent what if she was abusive ? Oh my god si much toughts were looping in my head.

My father was marrying me to somoene he doesn't even know too.
