*BEEB BEEB BEEB*
Sitting up, I reach for my phone. I have a few failed attempts, but finally turn off the annoying beeping of my alarm. I lay back down only to find myself in a pool of sweat.
I sit back up in a rush 'what the hell happened last night?' I wonder. Unable to remember anything, I get up and look down at myself.
'Why am I covered in dirt?' I walk over to my door and unlock it. I cautiously peek out into the hall and can hear the snores of my father and his friend downstairs. I rush to the bathroom and close the door, locking it behind me. I strip out of my pajamas that are soaked in sweat and notice a scratch on my arm.
"What the fu--" I lean in closer to the mirror as if to get a better look. I shake my head and turn to the shower to turn on the water. I continue to wonder as I hop into the shower. After getting out I rush back into my room. I again close and lock the door. I wrap my hair with my towel and dig through my clothes to find a bra and underwear. I dress myself quickly and slip on some skinny jeans, a plum purple tank top with a gray no sleeve vest, a gray beanie and black converse. I grab my phone off of its charger and see that I have five missed calls from Michael.
"I'll call him later" I mutter to myself as I head downstairs to find something to eat.
I slowly step down the stairs and see both couches contain one body, both wreaking from the night before. I slip past them and dart for the kitchen. I open the fridge to find what wasn't drank last night and some lunch meat and a small amount of jelly in a jar. I open the pantry door and feel lucky that the box of rice is still in place, I move it to reveal my favorite cereal, frosted flakes. I grab a red solo cup from the cabinet and fill it with cereal. A knock comes from the front door and I quickly put the cereal back and rush to the door to silence the knocking.
I opened the door only to reveal a very tense Michael.
"Whats up?" I ask.
"Um can I come in?" He asks.
"I don't think that's such a good idea I say as i motion towards the two drunks in the living room.
"Can we talk somewhere then?" I swear I've never seen him like this before. For as long as I can remember Micheal has always been the most laid back person I've ever met so for him to be this stressed can't mean anything good.
"Um yeah, let me go grab my phone and cereal out of the kitchen." I leave him at the door and rush into the kitchen grabbing my phone and cereal. I look into the pantry to make sure my precious cereal is hidden as it was before and close the door to the pantry quietly and returning to the front door.
"What's got you so tense?" I ask while closing the door behind me. We walk towards his truck and he looks at me with a very confused look.
"You don't remember anything from last night after I dropped you off?" He walks around his truck, his eyes locked on me with his eyebrows in a knot. I climb into the passenger seat and turn to him.
"I have to say I don't." feeling as if I said that a little too confidently I slightly slouch in my seat.
"Are you sure?" I take a handful of my cereal and toss it into my mouth
"Well I mean i did have this weird dream..." I say with a full mouth. I pause for a moment to finish chewing and look at him now becoming more concerned myself. " Michael, your kinda scaring me."
"Its really hard to explain what was going on with you." he looks as if he instantly regretted letting those words leave his mouth.
"What was going on with me? Whats going on with you?" I ask now becoming defensive. "Wait what do you mean by whats going on wit-" he cuts me off.
