As ive already said I'm sorry and please be patient with me. Ive mostly forgotten what ive even written in this and before I can add I have to look at what ive already written. Working to make this book a small hit. Goal is to have it done buy the 23.

The door is suddenly pounded on causing me to jump and move away from it quickly.

"Hey Alice! Are you ok in there?" I hear Michael yell from the other side of the door.

"Uh. Ya. I'm ok" I said back hesitently

"At least I think" I whispered to myself.

"Well hurry up. They're about to announce who won!"

I walked over to the door, grasping the handle in my rough hands. I opened the door and was blasted in the face with music. A thick haze of smoke smothered a little room I had gone through earlier. I finally found the rest of the band when suddenly the room starts to slowly spin.

'I needed to get outside!'

Michael grabbed my wrist as I turned away from everyone, "Whoa, where are you going? They are about to announce who won! Stay a little while," he says with an excited smile. I ignore him and turn away again, this time slipping out of his grip. I hear the chatter in the group as I walk away and I can hear a trail of footsteps behind me.

Frustrated from the lack of exits and light back here I stumbled over myself in the darkness of the backstage. Looking up I finally see the dim light of an exit sign. I reach my feet and rush to the door. Pushing it open I walk into the cool night and feel at ease with an odd feeling of relaxation and comfort. I'm startled as I am grabbed from behind. I spin around quickly while  holding my breath and pulling my hand back, making a fist, I'm ready to fight back.

"Hey. Calm down!" Micheal says while quickly grabbing my fist, slowly lowering my hand. His face is covered in concern and I feel it as though it is radiating off of him.

"Gosh Michael. You scared the shit out of me!" I say as I breath out and drop my head.

"What the hell are you doing out here anyways?" He asks while looking as if hes expecting to see someone out here with me.

"I don't know? I just... just.." I struggle to find words to explain how I feel at the moment or what's even going on with me because I don't even know whats going on with me.

"Just?" he mocks as if to relieve any tension.

"I just... needed.. to get outside and away." I feel as if I sound completely dumb at this point.

"Away from what?"Michael asks, obviously confused by the whole situation. He quickly looks back at me and concern is yet again present.

"Wait. What is up with your eyes?" He asks grabbing my face, his dropping immediately.

"Michael I've got to go." I say pulling away. He grabs me by my arm and gives me a look that seems serious and slightly mad.

"Why did you never tell me about this? I would have never guessed honestly." I can see he is taken back by something but I don't understand what he's saying.

"Tell you about what? What in the world are you talking about? You obviously know something I don't." His look changes from stern to confused again. He pulls out his phone to check the time.

"We ought to go somewhere else, where there's less people. I'll leave Marissa a text and let her know we're leaving." He says pulling me away from the building and towards his truck.
