'A tight squeeze'(Huggy wuggy x Mute!Reader)

Chapter 7

Once the two of you reunited, you left the cafeteria with toys that were confused about why Huggy and you left the place like nothing happened.

You let out the breath you thought you had not held on before.

"You did great with that disguise." He said to you with a smile. You blushed and looked away.

After a while you took off the disguise of Kissy missy and put your grab pack on your back. By doing this process Huggy notices the bandage on your right arm. This put him in a worried mode. "What happen?" He asked as he crouched down and carefully took your arm in his big hand. You look at then you avert your gaze. You don't want to tell that Bron did that to you.

Huggy frowns a little as he stares at you, waiting for an answer to this.
"(Y/N), please... I only want you to be safe. If something happened when I was gone... I would never forgive myself. So please tell me.." He is pleading with you now.

You remove your arm on his hand and sign him a name.

'Bron'.

You dare not to look at him for the reaction he may have now. You were right to not do that. Because right now he looked very mad for what the long neck dino toy did to you.

He gritted his sharp teeth and hit the floor with his hands. "That bastard... I knew he would hurt you! I should have been there to protect you.." you look up to see him look at you sadly. He seems hurt to not have been there for you.

You reached a hand over to his face and put it on his cheeks. You rubbed the soft fabric and smiled a little. 'Its alright.' you signed to him with your free hand.

He closed his mouth and smiled at you. "You're too pure... But it's not alright." He said as he put a hand on top of yours that was on his left cheek. "He injured you. Plus you had to patch that up without me helping you."

You blink and blush a little. His hand was so much bigger than yours and it was covering yours fully. You rubbed one of your eyes being a bit stressed.

He noticed that and decided to remove his hand from yours. "I think we better move now. Poppy won't bother us if we don't get on her path. But I know you want to help your uh... Friends that are stuck here." He told you as he rubbed the back of his head. You nod and look determined at him.

You were ready from the start to find them.

Now the two of you searched for a key hidden somewhere from the Innovation room.

You looked on every shelf, desk and table where a key could be left on. But nothing. After an hour you let out a sigh and gave up. Huggy could not do much on his side either. He could reach to the top part of the shelf to see anything that would shine like a key. Yet nothing was in his sight too. He looked at you and shook his head when you were looking at him with hope that the key was there.

You sit down on a wheelchair and turn on it to think about an idea. Since innovation is a part of creating toys. It makes sense that a key to open something important must be hidden somewhere.

But where?

Huggy sat on the floor next to you and would simply play with his hands. He seems annoyed to not help you much.

You then remember seeing the door that led to the testing room. It's the only place you two have not got in. You pat Huggy's shoulder and sign to him to follow you. He got up and followed you out of the Innovation room. You two were now standing in front of the testing room. "Are you... Sure we will find a key there?" He asked nervously. Seems like he doesn't like that.

More like he looks like he hates that place.

You nodded to affirm this. You had to find that key and it's the only place you get to check out. "Alright. Let's go in then." He said as you were already entering the place.
He crouched down to pass the doorway and was already regretting coming in with you.

In this place all the toys were destroyed in different ways. Shred to pieces, some were missing eye's or a limb, some had holes, some were burned, some even seemed to be wet and dirty. This sight was horrific to Huggy. He hated to see how the toys had passed the test for a kid's safety and this was like a total nightmare. It made him remember how he was tested. He was programmed to hug each child that hugged him. He even had to say some lines like in the commercials and even do a certain uncomfortable pose to entertain the children.

For you it was not that horrific. You knew about that place. You had taken a glance before when you used to work here. You know they made tests to be sure their products were not dangerous to a kid. Yet you felt uneasy about this view. You took a closer step and carefully looked at every corner of the room.

You need that key no matter what happens.

You spotted a door on your left. You went to it and opened it. Behind it, there was like a long corridor leading to another door. You walk to it and open it as well. Inside the room there were some boxes stacked together in a corner with two desks facing each other from one wall of the room. There are tapes and scissors left on them. It's like it was the room that put the toy that passed the test.

You were curious about what was in those boxes. So you open one and look inside it. There was a lot of Huggy wuggy and kissy missy inside it. You smiled knowing this product had survived the test. You move on to the next box and see this one was full of boogie bot the robot. He looked so cute despite how the others you saw before were. You check the third box and this one made you confused. The toys there were different Huggy wuggies, like they don't have the same color or even face. Their eyes look small or big and the same goes for their mouth. They even have accessories on them! That looks so cool! Why have they not been sold yet? It would have been great for the children. Especially the orphans.

You get distracted too much in this place. You looked around and found something shining under one of the desks. You go over and kneel down to take it. It was a gray key. you finally have it! The key to open the door from where the pile of dead toys are!

You sprint back to Huggy who seems to be in a trance with the tested toys behind the glasses. You waved hands to him to get his attention but it didn't seem to work. You got closer and tilted your head. Looks like he is troubled by something.

You put a hand on his legs and rub the fur a little. You look concerned for his case. He is after all a toy that was tested. You realize you might have brought him bad memories by making him follow you in there.

Huggy slowly looks down at you. He opened his mouth a little to say something. But he stopped himself and shook his head. He walked out of the testing room.

You followed him desperately to know what happened to him since those years. It's been 10 years since he was here by himself. He must have been very lonely..

You put the key in your pocket and start to walk fast. You go in front of him to stop him and spread your arms out. He stops and looks at you curiously.

'What is wrong? I wanna know.' you signed has you look worried. He sighs and rubs his face. "I uh... It's gonna be a long story.. Are you sure you want to hear it?" You nodded a lot as you brought your hands together close to your face that seemed to glitter in interest. He chuckled as he kneeled down. You sit down next to him. Ready to listen.

"Fine... I'll tell you what is wrong then."
