Mania waited in a chair back at Spiral Hill Asylum. He couldn't wait to see Vex. He saw Amara coming down the hallway, her noticing him as well. "Ah, Mania, where have you and Mayhem been?" she asked him, raising an eyebrow. "I was just stealing sanity, sister, you know. The usual?" Mania replied. "Hm." Amara crossed her arms, "and where did you sleep last night?" she quizzed him. Mania's face instantly started to heat up. 

"U-uh..." he fiddled with his tail. Amara tapped her foot. "I'm listening, Mania." she said, intimidating him further. Mania remembered earlier, Vex kissing him all over his neck, his soft lips tickling his skin with love. His cheeks were burning at this point. "I-I was um...I-I was back at home! W-with brother-dearest." Mania lied, his tail nervously twitching. Amara could instantly read what Mania had been doing. 

"Mania...did you sleep at Vex's house last night?" she asked him, getting him to nervously sweat. "N-no! I-I swear I was with brother last night, sister!" he squeaked, rubbing his feet together nervously. "Mhm, that's why you're nervous, huh?" she said, pinching him by the ear and lifting him. "Let's ask Vexan, shall we?" she dragged Mania to Vex by his ear, Mania whining to her in pain to let go of his ear. Vex was organizing some patient documents, not suspecting the demon siblings' visit. He noticed them coming closer to him, turning around with a smile. 

"Why, hello Amara, Mania. What can I do for you both?" Vex asked nicely, then noticing Amara grasping poor Mania by his ear, a slight nervous frown crossing his face. "Would you mind telling me where Mania slept last night, Orchad?" Amara asked the doctor sternly. Vex pulled on his shirt collar anxiously. He could hear Mania's soft whimpers as his sister pinched his ear. He couldn't just sell the poor demon out like that. 

"Don't be silly, Amara, how would I know where Mania slept?" Vex said, in his most confident voice possible. Mania looked at him curiously. Amara still looked suspicious. "You...really don't know where he was last night?" Amara asked, releasing Mania's ear. Mania rubbed his ear, trying not to blush at Vex defending him. "Not at all, Amara. I was at home last night and didn't see a peep of him." he adjusted his glasses. "Besides, I think he's been with Mayhem this entire time." There was silence for a few seconds. Amara glanced at Mania one last time before leaving him alone with Vex. 

Mania peeked around the corner to see if she was gone. When he was completely sure, his happy squeals insued as he threw his arms around Vex happily. "Thank you Vexy! Ooh, I wouldn't know what I would do without you!" he happily squealed, snuggling under Vex's chin as Vex laughed along. "Of course, Manes, I saw how she was hurting your ear and I couldn't sell my little Mania out now could I?" Vex pressed a kiss into Mania's cheek. Mania blushed and giggled, wagging his tail happily. 

"So, Vexy, erm...what are we doing tonight?" Mania asked curiously, walking with Vex down the hall of Spiral Hill. Vex gave him a smile. "Well, I figured I could bring you to one of the restraunts close to here. I wasn't sure if you had an appetite for human food or not, though." Mania stood in front of Vex excitedly. "Bring me!" he squeaked happily. Vex kissed his adorable boyfriend on the nose. "Of course, Manes."
