After Vex and Mania's date the night before, Mania started feeling worse and worse. Amara still didn't trust him being with Vex. She kept quizzing him on where he slept, where he was, and even if he and Vex kissed. It was getting tiring. He just wanted to be accepted. Mania yawned. His head hurtHe was really tired after a long day of massacre with Mayhem, and just slinked on the floor of Spiral Hill by a chair, curling into a ball and falling asleep.

Mania felt a rub on his shoulder. "Mania..." he felt it again. "Maniaaa, darling."  Mania opened his eye, seeing Vex crouching in front of him. Vex warmly smiled at him. "Mmm..." Mania tiredly moaned, rubbing his eye and sitting up. "Looks like you got tired, sweetheart." Vex said, kissing Mania's cheek. Mania smiled and blushed, trying to look happy for his boyfriend. Vex sensed what was wrong, knowing Mania giggled each time a kiss was pressed on his cheek. 

"Is something wrong, love?" Vex asked him, holding his hand. Mania squeezed his hand, his throat tightening. "I-I just...I feel bad today, Vexy..." Mania said, trying not to cry in front of Vex. Vex frowned, picking Mania up. "Aw, Mania..." tears began to fall from Mania's eyes, clinging to Vex's chest. "Let's talk about this at home, okay hon?" Vex said sweetly. Mania nodded in return. 

timeskip.....

Mania curled into a ball on Vex's bed, fiddling with his tail. Vex came back with some tea for himself and his boyfriend, sitting by Mania. He set the tea down, gently petting Mania's side, trying to soothe him. Vex didn't even hear Mania's comforted purr when he was pet. He must be really upset. "Mania...hon..." Vex said, worried. "What happened?" Mania turned onto his back, trying not to cry. 

"My sister, Vexy...she never accepts me...I just want to be happy with you but she won't let me..." tears started to fall from Mania's eyes again. "I'm always living in fear that she'll punish me again if she knows I'm dating you..." Mania's voice shook as he cried, holding Vex's hand to attempt to comfort himself. Vex held his hand back, pulling Mania into a hug. "Mania..." he began, the demon blushing at the sudden hug. "I'll talk to Amara tomorrow about it...I can't stand to see you cry..." Vex said, pulling back to wipe the tears off of Mania's face. Mania rested his face in Vex's palm, clutching his lover's hand. 

"Y-you will...?" The demon squeaked. "Of course I will, sweetheart." Vex said, kissing another tear away from Mania's face. Mania giggled at the kiss. "Your kisses are always so nice, Vexy..." Mania said, a smile reforming on his face. Vex smirked, getting an idea. "They are, hm?" Vex held Mania at his sides, pressing kisses into his neck and tickling his sides. Mania squealed happily with laughter. "Ehehehehahaha Vexyyy~!" he laughed, squirming beneath Vex, Vex chuckling as he made his boyfriend laugh. 

Vex slid his hands down to Mania's hips. "U-uh oh..." Mania stammered as his hips got the same tickle attack as his sides. Mania thrashed and squealed as his boyfriend tickled him, trying to get Vex to cease his tickles. Vex stopped tickling looking at his boyfriend lay beneath him, catching his breath. 

"Please don't be sad, darling, you're much to precious to be feeling down." Vex said, brushing Mania's cheek with a hand. Mania blushed and purred at Vex's warm touch.
