"Well I guess it's time for catching up now isn't it Izuku asked nervously.
"Yeah and you've got a lot of explaining to do Melissa said sternly.
"Uh fine where do you want me to start Izuku said.
"Well what happened after you ran away Melissa asked.
"Well I was in the forest and these rings came to me said my name and said I was their user then combined into one Izuku asked.
"So that's where your power comes from Melissa concluded.
"Well part of it yeah Izuku said.
"What do you mean part of it Melissa questioned.
"What I'm about to tell you I don't want you to tell anyone else not even David Izuku said.
"Must be pretty serious Melissa said.
"It is the only other person who knows is Nezu and that's it Izuku said.
"Alright I promise I won't tell anyone else Melissa said.
"I'm not a 100% human Mel Izuku said.
"What how can that be possible Melissa asked.
"Simple my dad's an alien and he met my mom and well you know how babies are made then I popped out Izuku said.
Melissa didn't say anything instead just looked at Izuku.
"Speechless I know but just wait till you learned how I met my dad that'll make your head spin Izuku remarked.
"Izuku are you ok Melissa asked.
"Ain't that the million dollar question am I ok who knows Izuku said.
"Izuku how does your ring work and why is it green Melissa asked.
"It's called a power ring used by the lantern cores that make light constructs by using you imagination Izuku said.
"And what happened to these lantern cores Melissa asked.
"As far as I know they are all wiped out and I'm the last one standing Izuku said.
"I'm sorry to hear that Melissa said.
"It's alright I've accepted I'm one of the last ones well one of the last ones that use them for good anyway Izuku said.
"What do you mean by that Melissa asked.
"There's still one lantern core that's semi operational and that's the yellow lantern core they use fear to power their rings and they ain't the nicest people Izuku said.
"And you're supposed to fight them Izuku you'll be killed Melissa said.
"No I won't I'm half alien and the half part is so pure that it makes me almost full blooded Izuku said.
"So I guess you're gonna be one tough cookie to crack huh Melissa joked.
"Heh yeah I guess I am Izuku said.
"You know it was nice to see you again Mel Izuku said.
"Likewise little cousin Melissa said.
"Hey I'm not so little anymore Izuku said with a smile on his face.
