I Am Not That Pretty

PROLOGUE

" I will not let you walk away with answers only you know, not this time. "

She coldly chuckles and says, " Look in the past you are stuck in."

I thought of every possible mistake I could have made. It would be a big one because she would never walk off for a small reason.

" Congratulations to you both !! You both are finally engaged after 18 years of being betrothed."

And that's when I got all my answers, she knew back then too. I finally looked at her face, tear-stricken, exhausted and most of them hurt.

" Guess you finally got your answers huh..... I know I am not that beautiful and wealthy as she is & I couldn't bring the world at your feet so, stupid me brought myself but that wasn't enough, was it?. You crushed me, hurt me the most more than they could ever. "

I stood there not doing or saying anything.

So basically I had this idea for a long time that just like girls, boys too do have struggles that they too are judged one way or another. I know that prologue says something else but as I said earlier this book is still developing. I will try to show these 2 individual's struggles as new adult separately yet together.
