Bibi Dong is the highest authority in Spirit Hall, a powerful and symbolic organization in the fantastical Duolou Continent, and the last empress of the Spirit Empire. She is one of the villains who sought after the main character, Tang San.

According to an interview done by the show's producer WeTV with the author, he said that the resemblance between EXO's Aera and Soul Land's Bibi Dong is not a coincidence but rather his own request to the animators!
"When I imagine how Bibi Dong would look like, EXO's Aera quickly came to my mind. They have their differences especially in the attitude but their similarity is within the powerful aura and the intimidating-yet-calm look. They also have that air of noble radiance. Aera is definitely a fit model for this powerful character."
Hearing about this, fans quickly came to social media to promote EXO's Aera as the actress for the upcoming live-action film of the said novel.
