The Royal

Chapter 8

It's been 2 day and tonight was gonna be the 2 day celebration ball. Me and the Princes were ready to put our plan into work. We were not gonna drink anything including alcohol but we were gonna say and act like we did so it would be suspicious. Then soon before midnight Prince Edward was gonna distract the Queen from going into her room, so me and Levi could get in and try to find where the dagger could be or atleast any clues. That was the first face of the plan, we were gonna plan the rest out of what we find up there.

The ball had just begun and me and Prince Edward were gonna do our "great entrance" as the Queen said it. We're basically gonna go down the stairs with our arms twisted together and look "in love". I was just glad that Prince Edward knew that I didn't really like him that way and that he was helping me to stop it. The maids had made me a beautiful red dress with red shiny detail and spirals on it and the royal tiger stripes on my sides and I had a beautiful red tiger mask with lots of tiny details and shiny stripes on to match with the dress and the team of the ball being a masquerade. My hair was half down half up and the hair that was down was beautifully curled and I had my mother's red hair clip to keep the hair up. I walk out of my room to see Prince Edward standing there waiting for me. He was wearing a black suit with a red tie to kinda match with me but he still had a mask that was inspired by a black panther and it had nice details that was supposed to look like the panthers eyes. On his suit he had 1 royal pin and 4 royal medals. His hair was cutely curled and he was wearing his Prince crown. He looked at me and smiled.

- Well don't you look red? He said laughing.

- Oh shut up Panther! I said, slightly laughing.

- Uhmm d-do you know what Prince Levi is wearing? I asked him knowing that he, even if he knew, wouldn't tell me.

- You will have to find that out yourself, he said as I suspected.

- Well let's go and make our entrance, I said as he started to slowly walk closer to me. He put out his hand so it would look more real.

- Shall we Princess? Prince Edward said and I looked annoyed at him but still took his hand and we started to walk to the big door, separating us from the ball hall. We stopped right in front of the door and he said,

- Are you ready for this?

- Yes I am, I answer as the door opens. We walked out and waved as we walked down the stairs. I was looking around for Prince Levi and as I spotted him I could see that he was wearing a white suit with a white tie. He had a snow sunflower in a pocket on his left side of the suit and he was wearing a very detailed snow tiger mask that looked alot like mine but it was a snow tiger instead of a red tiger. His hair was straight as usual and he had 2 royal pins and 1 royal medel on his suit. He was also wearing his Prince crown and god he was handsome. I look over to see the Queen wearing an old looking orange dress that has a lot of shiny details like mine but mine is more shiny and mine fits in with the style of my dress. Her mask was supposed to look like a tiger but I didn't think it looked like one. it was badly made but I bet she wanted it to look like "the good old times''. I moved on from her and looked at King Richard who was wearing this army looking suit with 5 royal pins and 6 royal medals on, I slightly turn to Prince Edward and say to him,

- Your dad has a lot of pins and medals, so why don't you have more? I slightly laugh at him as he says,

- And why don't you have any then? I look at him and say,

- Girls can't earn them, idiot. I laughed and we got down to where the people were standing. Me and Prince Edward walk to the middle of the hall and get in a dance position.

The music started and we bowed at each other. We got closer and started to dance to the music, it was the royal walls that I had been practicing since i was a little girl. We danced for a good 10 minutes until the song finally stopped. Me and Prince Edward walked up to the Queen and King Richard and took a drink. The Queen and King Richard went with Prince Edward to take drinks so I stayed with Prince Levi.

- Can I have this dance sweet? he asked as he put out his hand for me.

- as much as I would love to, I'm not allowed to, I said and looked down sad. He pulled his hand back and added,

- Yeah you're probably right about that.

- I'm always right, I say as I start to walk up to Prince Edward and grab my drink. We talked for about 1 hour until King Richard came up to me and put out his hand.

- Could I have this dance Princess Aerial? he asked politely. I slightly looked over at Prince Edward and he nodded his head.

- Of course King Richard, I say as I take his hand and start to walk out on the floor. We start to dance and were quiet for 2 minutes until he says,

- I have seen that you have been talking a lot with my son Levi. I look at him and say,

- Well it's always good to know your fiance's family right? I say not to sound suspicious. He just looked at me.

- Yeah of course, he then says and the music stops and I pull away from him slowly walking back to the Princes.

- Okay i'm done with this, let's get to work, I say and gently pull Edward with me. I look back at Prince Levi and see him nodding at me and walking up to the queen.

Me and Edward reach the Queens room and shut the door behind us.

- Maybe you should leave it a little bit open so we can hear if anybody comes in, Prince Edward said and looked back at me. I nod and open the door slightly. We start looking around the room. I start to look in her closet and Edward starts by looking in the cabins. We source and source but can't find anything. I take a break and look into the mirror. I got an idea and started to focus, my eyes started to glow in red and I could feel that Prince Edward turned to see what I was doing.

- What are you doing? he asked.

- I'm trying to look into the mirror's soul and memorise if you could see where the dagger is, I said and stopped as my eyes turned back to normal.

- Did you see anything? he asked me. I turn to him and say,

- I-I could get into its soul for some reason, It was like it was....empty. I could tell that Prince Edward was confused. Then out of nowhere the Queen comes in and when she sees us she gets mad but hides it when Prince Edward was in the room as well. I could see it on her face.

- What are you guys doing in my room? the Queen asked and I looked at Prince Edward signaling him to go out even though I knew I was gonna get hurt if he left.

- I-I think I should let you guys talk alone, he says and as he walks out he looks at me with a sad face. I could feel that he knew what was gonna happen. When he had shut the door behind him, the Queen came straight up to me and grabbed my dress and started to drag me down the stairs. She put something over my mouth to shut down my screams. She dragged me down to the basement and treated me like I was some kind of dog toy. She dropped me on the floor. She started to throw paintings and chairs at me. I screamed,

- stop please! please stop! aaaahhhhh!

She kept on throwing stuff at me until she finally stopped. She walked up to a cabin and pulled out one of the books. It was my fathers favorite book "Beauty and the Beast''. She opened it and took out the dagger from it. As soon as I saw it I got scared but still kinda happy because she didn't know that I knew that I needed that dagger to break the cures and save my father. I got super scared as she started to walk up to me.

- Now that you finally deciced to go into my room and try to find that stupid necklace, she said and took the dagger closer to her face. She had an evil look on her face, but I was too scared to think about that. all i could think about was that i really didn't want to be alone down here with her. Then out of nowhere she said,

- So let's see if you survive this then. As she said that she made a cut across my face with the dagger. I felt so weak and god it hurt. I collapsed down on the floor even more, if that is possible. I was completely covered in blood from the cut. She took me by my dress and pulled me up to my room and threw me in there. I hit the floor hard. I passed out for a while.
