Chapter 3

The next morning I get dressed and go down to the dinner room for breakfast with the King and Princes.

- Oh good morning my dear, the Queen said.

- Come and sit down and let's have some breakfast, she said and smiled at me.

- Yes o-of c-course, I said with a stutter. I could tell that Prince Levi was sad by his facial expression.

- Perfect, let's eat then, the Queen said and we all started to eat. The King and the Queen talked about the wedding. I just sat there in silence and didn't listen to what they said. Then I heard someone whisper something. I looked at Prince Levi that was trying to whisper something. I used my powers to get to his soul to tell what he was saying. I looked into his soul and I could hear that he said,

- Meet me in the royal garden after breakfast. I just nodded at him and whispered.

- Sure. He smiled at me and continued to eat.

After breakfast I walked down to the royal garden and sat down by a mermaid fountain. After a couple of minutes Prince Levi came up from behind and covered my eyes. I slightly flinched as I thought it was the Queen but then I heard a voice that wasn't hers.

- Guess who, he said and I could hear in his voice that he was smiling.

- Mm who could it be? King Richard maybe, I said and laughed. Prince Levi took his hand away and laughed as he sat down next to me. He stared at me for some second but then said,

- Why did you flinch when I put my hand on your eyes? I started to stutter.

- W-well I-I g-got scared, yeah, I said awkwardly.

- Okay then, he said and smiled at me. After a while he said,

- So how does it feel to marry my dear brother? he had a smirk on his face.

- Well I-I don't feel safe with him, I mean he is nice but I get this weak feeling from him, If you understand what I mean, I said with a little laugh.

- He told me that you were acting weird on your walk yesterday, he said and looked kinda worried at me.

- Yeah I heard you guys yesterday, I said and looked at him.

- We heard you sing as well, he said but fastly said.

-You have a really beautiful voice, you know, he said slightly smiled to the ground.

- Thank you, It means alot, I said and smiled thinking about my mother.

- Uhm do you wanna go for a walk, so we can talk and get to know each other? he asked and stood up and gave me a hand.

- I would like that, I said and took his hand and stood up. We started to walk and we talked about many things, like school and books and so on.

We talked for about two hours. The best hours so far in my life. We said bye and I went straight to my room and grabbed my diary. I wrote down everything. It felt like forever and I couldn't stop smiling. I felt safe with him, I felt loved for the first time since the Witch took my father and almost destroyed the whole Kingdom. I heard footsteps behind my door and a voice that sounded like the Queen. I got scared and hid inside my closet. The door opens and I start to freak out.

- Come on Aerial, don't make this even harder then it is, the queen said and walked up to my closet. She opened the door and pulled me out.

- Please stop, let me be! I screamed.

- Shut up or I will put you in the room for tonight! she said and pulled my dress apart. She started to hit me everywhere. I tried to use my powers but she pushed my hand so they were sore. I could move my hand. It felt like I broke 2 of my fingers. She stopped and walked out of my room in silence.

After 15 minutes I stood up. I was weak. I walked to the shower and took one. I had a few bruises but not many and my middle finger was purple. After the shower I got dressed again and sat down on my bed. I put a bandage to connect my middle finger to my other finger for protection. I didn't go down to dinner even though Mei came up to me and said to come down to eat.

After 1 hour I heard a voice from under my window so I stood up, still very weak and went to the window and looked down and saw Prince Levi who was doing something with his horse. I could see what he was doing but he was cute.

- Hey there stranger! I yelled from my window to him.

- Hey there sweet, he said and laughed a little. I started to blush at the nickname he gave me.

- What's with the nickname Prince Levi? I asked and started to laugh.

- What with it? does my sweet not like it? he said and looked at me.

- No I like it but don't call me that in front of everybody, I mean I am your brothers soon to be wife so, I said and smirked at him.

- Good point sweet, He said and looked at his horse.

- Why didn't you come to dinner sweet? he asked me.

- I-I-w-wasn't hungry, I said, stuttering so much.

- What with the stuttering sweet? he said and laughed. I didn't respond.

- Hey! You said you had a horse, why don't you come down here and we can go for a ride? he asked and smiled at me.

- Okey Okey, just wait a moment, I said and walked away from the window. I walked down to the royal stable and settled my horse Butterflie, and walked out to meet Prince Levi talking with Prince Edward. Prince Levi sees me and says,

- Oh hello Princess Aerial, he says and looks me in the eyes.

- Hello Prince Levi, Prince Edward, I say with a smile and jump on Butterflies back.

- Woah hold on Ariel, are you really gonna ride a horse in that dress? Prince Edward asked me.

- Yes I am, got a problem with that? I asked but started to gallop away from them but slightly looked back at them and laughed. Prince Levi sat up on his horse and galloped after me with a smile on his face. We were riding around the field and laughed a lot. I don't know where Prince Edward went but I guess he didn't want to join us. We were talking for about a half hour before it started to get dark. We said good night and I went to my room.
