I woke up from my nap at around 10 am and stretched as I rolled out of bed. I let out a yawn and rolled down my pants to cover my shins again. I looked over at my door to see that there was a letter laying in front of it. I walked over and picked up the letter gently and opened it. It read:

Dear Princess Sky of the Kingdom of Orira,

Queen Dorka of the Lurris Kingdom has invited you to a picnic this afternoon at 4:30 pm. We would love to have you this afternoon and would love to get to know you more! Hope to see you soon.

Sincerely,

Prince Vinnie of the Lurris Kingdom

I smiled down at the letter and tucked it into my pocket. I opened the door and entered the large hallway. I went down the hall to Anna's room and knocked on the door gently. I heard a muffled 'Come in', followed by me entering the room' I covered my eyes as I closed the door, "are you wearing your mask?" I heard Anna chuckle, "you're fine, princess." I uncovered my face to see Anna in her new attire. She was wearing a purple hoodie and had her hood that looked like a dinosaur's head pulled up to hide her hair. She also wore a pair of black pants and brown boots that were similar to mine. Her outfit was complimented with her signature mask and had leather armour that covered her outer forearms. Finally, she had a belt with her sword in its sheath and clipped onto the side.

"Let me take a wild guess, your favourite colour is purple," I said sarcastically, causing Anna to let out a small laugh. I pulled out the invitation and looked at her, "did you receive an invitation from Vinnie for the picnic this afternoon?" Anna nodded as she pulled out her invitation from her hoodie pocket, "they addressed me as 'Miss Anna of the Kingdom of Orira'." I gave a loud laugh and hugged my stomach, but halted when I heard a squeaky noise. I looked up to see Anna holding her hand on top of her mask and letting out squeaky window cleaner-like noises, which caused me to laugh even harder. I was now laying on the ground rolling around on my back. "Drother was right," I said in between breaths, "you do sound like a person cleaning windows." Anna snapped her head to face me, causing me to go into another fit of laughter.

Anna began to slightly pout and walk out of the room and into the hallway. "No Anna come back I'm sorry," I said as I got up and walked into the hallway, giving out breathy laughs. Anna turned around, having her arms crossed and cheeks slightly puffed out. "Aww, is Miss Anna pouting because I made fun of her laugh," I giggled as I walked towards her. "That's it," Anna said as she picked me up and threw me over her shoulder, causing me to let out a yelp. "Anna put me down," I huffed as I began to squirm in her grip but to no avail. "I don't think I will princess," Anna said as she began walking down the hallway. I looked over her shoulder and I could see the smug grin on her face even with the mask. I grumbled before hanging my head in defeat and waited to see where Anna was going to take me.

I was finally placed down in front of a door. Anna gently took my hand and led me out the door and into a garden space. I looked around in awe at all the flowers and other plants that decorated the courtyard. "You are lucky if it gets like this in the summer," I muttered, causing Anna to turn around and face me. "Well, that will be one of the perks of staying in Lurris then," Anna said as she began to walk backwards and lead me down the pathway. Once we reached the center, I paused and looked around, soaking in the colourful surroundings.

I felt eyes looking at me, and I turned to see Anna just staring at me. I couldn't tell what the intent of the staring was, causing me to sigh, "What are you staring at, Anna?"

"Your eyes," Anna said as she took my hand and put it into her own, "they always light up when you talk about something you are passionate about, and they always seem to glow no matter the lightning." I felt my face heat up at the comment and began to rub my hand along her cheekbone, Anna humming in response. I sighed and reluctantly pulled my non-covered hand away from Anna's face. "Come on," I said as I moved my covered hand to hold hers, "we only have a little bit until we have to get ready for the picnic, and I want you to show me the rest of this garden." Anna intertwined her fingers with mine and guided me through the garden, allowing me to admire the lush greenery that surrounded us.

Soon enough, we had to head back to our rooms to get ready. When we let go of each other's hand, I couldn't help but feel cold in the warm air. I sighed as Anna's door shut and I began to walk backwards to my room, not before I heard an annoying younger sister let out a small laugh. I turned to see Luna and Potato staring at me with shocked faces. "What," I asked as I looked at the two. "What was that," Luna asked while letting out breathy laughs. "What was what," I responded, now becoming confused. "Are you and Anna dating," Potato asked innocently. I felt my face light up and Luna let out another loud laugh. I quickly walked into my room as the two followed shortly after.

"Holy shit," Luna said in disbelief, "you like Anna." I quickly whipped my head around to face them, "I never said that." Potato followed Luna with a very confused look on their face. I went and sat on my bed and buried my face into my hands. "Anna is Sky's bodyguard and was assigned just before all of this went down," Luna clarified, "but it looks like the two are dating so-"

"For Christ's sake Luna we aren't dating," I exclaimed as I lifted my head to glare at her, "now the two of you get out so I can get ready for the picnic with Dorka." I had to push the two out of my room and slam it shut. I sighed when I heard a knock at my door when I went to the box of my belongings. "Come in," I said, followed by the sound of a door opening. "Hi Sky," Timi said, "as I was going through your things for this trip, I noticed a lack of formal wear. I am aware that since you have never left Orira you might not have a lot of formal clothing that would fit for the weather in Lurris, so I took it upon myself to make you a dress that would hopefully be cool enough for you. I hope you like it," she exclaimed with a shy smile, my jaw hanging open. "Timi! Oh my god I love it," I said as I looked over at it. While it was a floor length dress, it was made of a light and flowy material. It was a halter top that cut down to my mid stomach. As I looked at her hands, I saw that Timi was also holding a pair of my favourite black heels. I smiled at her and hugged her after putting the dress on my bed, "thank you, Timi."

After five minutes of lightheartedly arguing, she left to get ready and let me try to get ready myself since she has already done so much. I grabbed the makeup that was put into the box and walked over to the bathroom to get ready. I began to put on the makeup, trying my best to make it look half decent. Once I finished, I unzipped the dress and carefully slipped on the dress. I then tried to zip it up myself, but I only got halfway up before I couldn't zip it up anymore. I groaned in annoyance as I walked out of the bathroom, "where is Timi when I need her?"

I heard a knock at my door, and I walked to the door and opened it to see Anna in a white dress shirt, a pair of black dress pants along with a pair of black dress shoes. She also wore her mask, and her sword was still secured around the same belt she wore earlier. "Hey Sky, are yo-" Anna started before her eyes presumably met mine. She stared at me, and I slowly started getting nervous, "if the eyeliner is that bad you can tell me." Anna shook her head quickly, "No, no it's not that. You look great." I smiled and sighed, "oh do you mind helping me with the back? I got it halfway up, but I can't get the rest." Anna nodded and I turned around to show her the zipper. Her hand hesitantly went to the zipper and carefully pulled it up. Once she finished, her hands pulled away from the dress and I turned back around and thanked her.

We then heard Luna's door open to reveal her in a similar attire as Anna, except of a white shirt, they wore a red one. "Hey, I don't remember that dress Sky," Luna exclaimed as they walked towards me and Anna. "Oh yeah, Timi made it and gave it to me just today," I explained, and I looked over at Luna, "I am surprised that you too dressed out for this. I was kinda expecting you to be wearing the same thing." Luna glared at me before cussing me out, "WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN? DO YOU THINK I WOULD MAKE A BAD IMPRESSION ON OUR COUNTRY? You are the one with no style!" I began to laugh and walk away from her, Anna following shortly behind. "You ready for this Miss Anna of the Kingdom of Orira," I asked playfully. "As I'll ever be, Princess Sky of the Kingdom of Orira," Anna responded. We laughed as we continued to head towards the bigger garden.
