So, I don't want to discontinue this story but I've gotten a bit stuck over the next part of the story. I've got it laid out in my head but can't seem to write it down but I've had the ending save long ago..

So, I'll upload the ending for now ... DON'T read if you don't want to spoiled over the ending.

I'll discontinue the book here but I'd come back to it once I'm able to write the centre of the book how I want it ...

Sorry about this...

He was her best friend.

He saved her life during the war, taking her in under his wing like she was a duckling left in an pond full of swans.

Saved her and that lead her owning him an life.

So, she helped him to join them, in secret.

He had to trust both of their trust at first but he still became close with them.

She even got to meet his girlfriend, such a sweet lady, they were good together.

And than the final battle came and she learned the truth.

He was an spy, for the Galra, loyal to Zarkon himself.

She was hurt, it was the most painfulness days of her life.

But she didn't kill him, the war did.

His body was left on the ground, the war almost wiping half the island of gangsters out.

She found him, crying as he was meant to return home to his lover and newly born child.

He was a spy, someone who betrayed them and yet, she still owe him that life.

So, she paid him back in full.

Returning to his home instead, finding his girlfriend throat slit already and showing the Galra members silenced her before she decided to repeat any words her boyfriend told her in secret.

But, the baby girl, the couple weeks old baby was still left untouched.

It was the rules, to never kill an child.

Orphans would be taken to the orphanage, their parents name kept secret until they turned twenty one. It gave the child a change to live their own life, to leave the orphanage at eighteen and spend the three years to find a new home, a job and gain real friends. Three years could be long or short, depending on the person and those three years always gave a child a choice for the their future.

And she, she owed him a life.

So, what better way to return that life by taking his daughter as her own and giving her a future to live.
