(Chapter 4) welcome home

(Apple cider POV)

It's been months since I last saw my older brother months since we lost are mother. My 17th birthday is in a month and my 18 year old brother who has been by me almost everyday of my life is gone most likely dead. Lychee has been crying less and less witch makes me hope he's getting over our loss of are family.  After our brother sent us away I became a high rank in the safe house so I had a lot of duty's and such.

"Please blueberry lemon please be safe"

(BL POV)

I'm back in my cell but this time is different I won't be here for long. I tied my hair back with the string of my shirt that I took out, and tightened my boots so I was ready for what was to come. With a sigh I felt the thick fabric that covered my eyes, how long have I had this injury how long have I been here. My ears twitched hearing footsteps come near my mode thinking of what was to cool.

"Good morning Blueberry lemon~" that voice that hypnotic voice only to belong to the crimson general him self. Turning on my heal I looked at the black haired boy behind me.

"Morning general red I'm ready for today" I sighed again moving closer to the bars. He smirked as he fingers the keys till he finds the right on and opens the bared door. Walking out I stretched with a huge smile.

"This isn't something to smile about your most likely going to die today" red velvet blurted from next to me.

"I know that but at least i won't have to sleep in the stupid cell another night" I rolled my eyes walked ahead of him. Red ran to catch up to me grabbing me by the wrists.

"You don't what it to look like in just letting to out do you?~" his grip on my wrist was tight but I could still move. " once we get to the court Yard I'll let you go then we can begin this little battle" he hissed trying to act tough but I knew he was soft.

"As you wish" I mumbled so only red could hear me. He smirked as I was practically dragged to the court yard where my fate has yet to be decided. Red velvet let go if my wrist allowing me to grab a sword as he did.

"Are you ready to die blueberry lemon?" His tone was stern and strong. "Ready as I'll ever be" I smirked holding up my sword till it crossed his. The battle began the sound of swords clinking and heavy breathing could be heard. It was amazing the sound the feeling the movement the adrenaline! It wasn't my first  sword fight but it definitely was the best before it was just me and Apple cider but now I'm fighting the crimson general.

"Ready to give up BL?~" reds word were somewhat sweet but still had what I thought was venom. His sword was at my throat and mine to his the sound of heavy breathing was all that was to hear.

"If you think I'll just give up and die you never met me!" I yelled using the sword to push both of us back but nether of us stay on are feet. I landed on my knees so I could easy get up but red velvet he landed on his back. Getting up I kicked his sword away and straddled him one leg on ether side holding his arms down my sword at his throat again. Red velvet's face grew red as a blush formed probably from our position but this was how I was trained so.

"G-good job you got me down" he muttered as clapping began to be heard. Looking up I saw that grim reaper prick that took my eye along with a small child in purple and a woman in red.

"Good job indeed you must be that new soldier from the rose wood forest we been hearing so much about" the licorice spoke with a somewhat raspy tone. The woman looked pleased with what I had done and the child excited.

"Oh boy! New friends!!" The little purple and pink child said as I got off of red velvet. See as how I was seen as a soldier I kneeled down hiding my face.

"This is BL and yes he is the rose wood forest soldier but he's not fighting for us" red velvet explained as I stayed down looking to the dirt.

"And what or who dose he fight for?" The woman asked her voice was beautiful but not my type.

"He fights for his freedom he was once our prisoner but I gave him a chance to fight for his freedom." I could feel red place a hand on my back as he spoke. Footsteps someone is walking up behind us who ever they are there not sneaky. My ear twitched as instinct took over quickly I drew my sword aiming for the person behind us. Gasp were heard as I looked up to I was aimed at his hair was the same color as mine with white flakes his eyes yellow but one had black around it instead of white he looked to by important looking at his armor.

"So your the rosewood forest soldier Hmm" he pushed my sword down with a chuckle "well you have a fighters sprit I'll give you that" his voice went from stern to somewhat fatherly.

"BL this is the sapphire general" red explained putting a hand on my shoulder. This sapphire general felt almost filmier to me like I knew him or something. The sapphire general patted my head with a smile

"Well then welcome home Blueberry lemon"
