When Passion arrived, she was in a frenzy. "Go grab my bag, it's right there in my closet", I said to her. "Did you already call Luke to tell him meet you?", she asked. "I texted him but he didn't reply, ain't no telling where he at. Just please get me to this hospital quick girl!", I said as I made sure we had everything.
As Passion began to drive me to the hospital, she put on a signal to go left to where "the nurse and to doctor" worked. "No, keep going straight. Luke got me set up downtown", I instructed her. She looked puzzled. "Why you going way down there? Forest Gate closer", she responded. "Yeah but Luke made the arrangements at downtown for me", "Are you sure girl?"Passion asked. "Please just take me to downtown! I can't deal with this", I yelled as I contracted more. When we arrived, Passion let me out at the front so she could park. I signed myself in and while waiting, I called Luke. "Hey, I did as you suggested and changed hospitals. Pull up downtown".
As Passion parked the car, she called Stank. "The bxtch changed hospitals". "WHAT", he responded on the other end. "Yeah your babymama switched it up on us, meet me at the hospital downtown", and she hung up.
After 6 hours and 45 minutes, my handsome boy Alexander Edward Robbins was born. 8 pounds, 4 ounces, 6:17 in the morning. I was in love, he was perfect. When I got settled in my room, Passion, Stank, and Luke all came in to see me. This was so awkward, but whatever, I was just worried about my boy. Luke walked over and rubbed my head, "Wassup shorty, you good? My lil man looks so perfect. Thank you", and he kissed my forehead. Passion walked over to me, "Awww congrats bestie! He's so handsome, I just might have to steal him!!", she laughed. Stank just stood there. The NEW NURSE walked in to check on me and asked did I want her to bring Alex and I told her yes. When she left the room, it was quiet.
Luke stood and just rubbed my hair. 10 minutes later, the nurse returned with my son. Everybody was hoovering over him but I told Luke to hand him to me. As he walked Alex to me, Stank stared him down and hung his head. I layed there just admiring my son. After a while, Stank let out a big sigh, "I can't take this anymore. Listen Passion, I apologize in advance but I strongly believe that's my son right there. Me and Cinnamon fxcked that night you sent me to serve her. I know it's mine and I refuse to let this clown axx, lame axx nxgga try to take my son from me. Call em back in here, I'm ready to take a DNA test".
I was lost for words. I looked over at Luke, and he removed his hand from my head and gave me a dirty look. Passion just stood there. Everyone was silent. Finally, Passion walked over to Stank and slapped him. "Really nxgga, my best friend??". Then she turned to me, "And you bxtch, if you wasn't in that hospital bed I would beat your axx but I'll wait till you come home. Call the nurse back, let's run this test and for you and Stank's sake, yall both better hope MY NXGGA not the daddy". I looked over at Luke, he just stared out the window. "Luke, look im sor--", he cut me off, "Do like shorty said and run this test", he replied while still staring out the window.
I called the nurse in and requested the test. After Luke completed his, he left out the room. Passion just stood there shaking her head. "Bxtch I cant believe you fxcked my man. I know I shoulda never trusted you". She slapped Stank again, "Lets go, come get your shxt out my house with your trifling axx". I was glad to be alone with my boy after everybody left. "Just hold on Alex, we're almost there".
Two days later the nurse told me I was ready to be released. I called Luke and he told me he was on his way. He got there and packed me and Alex up. "How you think I did? Did I seem pissed, you think they bought it?", he asked while laughing. I laughed a little too, "Yeah I believe so. I swear I never knew Stank was so soft! OH, you shoulda seen Passion's face when I told her I was going to a different hospital! Homegirl was pissed!!". We both laughed and he cut the music up.
We arrived to my house and he made sure we were all settled in. "Alright now, you ready? You still wanna go through with this?", he asked me. "Yes, I'm ready. Promise nothing's gonna happen to me or Alex?" "I swear on my life shorty. Text me when you ready". "Thank you so much Luke. I really appreciate you", I told him and kissed him on the cheek. He hugged me and left.
