It's 1984. And a lot is happening. Kaiju have started attacking Earth. The militaries are powerless against them. The mass extinction of humanity, may have begun.
Warning: Ice Age references are bound to show up.
Due to recent kaiju attacks, the UN decided to spend more money, and build a mechanical Godzilla. "Isn't this the same prospect as Project: Atragon?" a Turkish representative asked. "N-no! It's totally different." a Danish representative said. "I don't see the difference." a South Korean representative remarked. "Yeah, it's definitely the same thing as Project: Atragon. Just, more kaiju-like." a Slovakian representative said. After a brief argument, it was declared that Project: Mechagodzilla would take effect if Project: Atragon failed.
The Vortaak queen was so pissed about Baragon's failure, that it took cast iron cuffs chained to her throne to keep her from doing something destructive in her classic outbursts. "IF WE'RE GONNA BRING EARTH TO IT'S KNEES, WE NEED OUR OWN GODZILLA!!!" she shrieked. Due to her shrieking orders, her personnel called her, "Shrieky" behind her back. If anyone were to talk to her via hologram, or in-person, they'd have to wear cast iron armor, and stainless steel helmet. Somehow, whenever the Vortaak queen is pissed and someone was talking to her over hologram, for some unknown reason, whenever she throws stuff at the holograms, the real person feels the pain. Again, it's unknown. "With all do respect your highness, how would we do such a thing?" the colonel asked. This enraged the queen, who threw a huge table at the hologram. "IT'S EASY YOU BRAIN DEAD MORON!!!" she screamed, "JUST GATHER UP ALL REMAINING RESOURCES, AND BUILD A MECHANICAL GODZILLA!!!"
Anguirus was still underground with Baragon. "Значит, ты не помнишь нашу битву?" he asked. "Nope. Not a single memory." Baragon replied. Baragon was freed from the control of the Vortaak, and Anguirus was leading him to Birth Island. Before they reemerged, Baragon used lava to block the entrance. Then after they emerged from the hole, Baragon filled the hole with molten magma. Not long after, Baragon was introduced back into society on Birth Island. He learned how sexist Rodan was. He learned that Anguirus spoke only in Russian, and never in English. He even found out that Battra loves bloody battles. He also learned that Godzilla was a single father, and was dating Mothra. Overall, nothing else.
The Vortaak queen hurried the building of Mechagodzilla. Her workers we so rushed, that it was built in 3 Earth weeks. The final result, was just average.

Mechagodzilla was released upon Earth, and was headed towards Mexico. But, an asteroid from the belt knocked the mecha off course. Mechagodzilla was sent hurtling towards Birth Island. The Vortaak would be lucky if it even arrived.
Godzilla was having a night out with Mothra. It was a good time. They went swimming together, though Godzilla was the better swimmer. He had to keep Mothra from drowning 3 times. Soon, they sat on a nearby cliff overlooking the sea. Godzilla put his arm around Mothra, and she rested her head on his shoulder. Then, they saw Mechagodzilla hurtle towards Earth. At first, they thought it was a shooting star. "Mothra, look! A shooting star!" Godzilla said, "Make a wish." Mothra looked up. "Godzilla, that's no shooting star." she said. Godzilla looked back up, and realized that Mothra was right. "Oh no." he said. The burning thing was hurtling towards them. Godzilla pushed Mothra, and took the full force of the explosion.
Mothra saw Godzilla on the ground. She flew over. "Godzilla? Are you okay?" she asked. He had a gaping chest wound, and his leg was bleeding violently. Then, Godzilla woke up. "I'm fine." he said. He tried to get up, but his wounds prevented him from doing so. "Will they heal?" Mothra asked. "Honey, I just took the force of a collision from a meteor. I can handle it." Godzilla replied. Using his tail for support, Godzilla was able to get up. Then, he found a tree trunk, and carved it into a walking stick. "Godzilla, I don't think that was a meteor." Mothra said. She pointed at Mechagodzilla. "What the heck?" Godzilla said. His walking stick kept him from falling over when he walking. Then, Mechagodzilla reawakened. It used its rockets to get onto its legs, and faced the 2 kaiju.
