WARNING #2: You may feel free to skip this chapter if you don't want to know how the Vortaak recruit members for their military

The Vortaak military was running low. A very important mothership was destroyed during Baragon's raid in Russia. It was full of weapons and had 10,000 members onboard. Now, the queen needed more men. "We're gonna need to bring back, the Vortaak Games." she ordered. he commanding officers were surprised. "With all due respect your highness, the Vortaak Games haven't been played for over 10 millennia!" one of her officers said. "Good. The potential recruits must be well rested then." she said. The commanding officers facepalmed.

After 10,000 Vortaak were captured to play the devious Vortaak Games, the queen watched from above. "Remember! Whoever wins will become a member of my military!" she said. The contestants cheered. Then, they were lead into a very big room. "The first game, is come, stay." the queen said, "If the doll says come, you head towards it. If it says stay, you stop. If you move when it says stay, you're eliminated." the game, "Come, Stay" was literally the Vortaak version of "Red Light, Green Light". The doll said come. The 10,000 contestants hurried. When the doll said stay, 7 contestants were killed. Then, 17 contestants were shoved to the ground. When the got up, the doll said stay.

By the time the contestants won "Come,Stay", only 9,328 of them survived. "The next game, is called, "Statue Carving". The rules are simple. Carve the block of V-nium into a statue of me, and you move on. If the statue breaks, you're eliminated." the queen explained. "Did anyone else know she was this narcissistic?" an officer whispered. The first step of carving V-nium, is to receive the right tools. The 9,328 contestants had to pick the right hammer, and the right chisel. Failure to do either, will get them eliminated. Only 5 of the 9,328 chisels and hammers were authentic. One contestant using a pen, was killed. In the rules of "Stone Carving", you weren't allowed to draw what you were carving. 27 more were killed for the same reason. Another contestant was killed because the statue was 7 centimeters too thick.

After "Statue Carving", only 6,000 survived. "Your highness, I think you should stop killing innocent Vortaak citizens for stupid reasons." a colonel begged. Then, he was killed too. "This game is called, "Pull the Rope". It's quite simple. Pull as hard as you can, and your team won't fall to their deaths." the queen said. It was literally "Tug o' War". 3,000 contestants on either side. Only 3,000 contestants would survive. Team A pulled hard. Really hard. Team B on the other hand, wasn't pulling at all. Before "Pull the Rope" even began, they applied pressure activated super sticky glue. Unfortunately, Team A yeeted stuff at Team B. One of the stuff slice off a member's head. It stood there. Motionless. Vortaak guards pulled at the corpse, but realized it was glued to the floor. Due to that, they executed Team B. Team A, won.

3,000 contestants left. The odds were thinning for them. "The fourth game is called, "Guess It". If you guess correctly, you get to take 1 marble. Guess incorrectly, you lose 2 marbles. If you lose all of your marbles, you're eliminated." the queen explained. A guard had to be stationed at the places a pair was meeting to play marbles. That's 1,500 watching over 3,000 contestant who could potentially turn on them. That's one guard for every pair. Good luck, schmucks. Unfortunately, you can't expect 3,000 people who've become besties with one another, to want to get the other guy killed. As it turns out, it lead out into a full on revolution. The guards freaked out when the contestants rose up against them.

After the Guess It Revolution of 1989, there were 400 contestants left. "Did this happen before?" a general asked. "Once. The Guess It Revolution of 1954." the queen replied. Then, she went up to the podium. "The next game, is "Stepping Stones". To win, you must make it to the other side." she said, "One of the glass has V-nium alkaloids. The other, is plain glass. Guess correctly, an you won't fall to your death." The contestants began to murmur. "That's "reassuring"." one said. Then, one guy volunteered. "Don't worry guys, I used to be a jr glass maker." he said. He slice off his hand, and threw it onto one of the glass hard. The glass stood still. The hand, bounced off, and into the void below. He jumped on it. "It's safe guys!" he shouted. The other contestants erupted into cheers. He sliced of his forearm, and threw to the glass in front of him. It shattered, and he jumped to the glass in tact. After the next glass, he was out of his left arm. He asked a contestant to slice of his right hand. When the contestant arrived, it went just as well as you might expect. The process was taking forever. So, the contestant picked up the jr glass maker, and threw him onto the next glass. It shattered, and he fell to his death.

After the chaotic game of "Stepping Stones", only 50 contestants survived. "The last game, "Death Tag", will decide the ultimate winners. The rules of the game are simple. One contestant will be given a small scale laser pistol. Said contestant will use said pistol to kill as many contestants as they can. The other contestants are allowed to take the pistol, and become the next "it"." the queen explained. A contestant was given a pistol. Since it was a game where it was hard to deem the winner, it was on a 3 minute time limit. The game was chaotic. When there was 30 contestants left, the time left was 1 minute. When there was 10 contestants left, the time left was 15 seconds. After the game, only 5 survived. They were told to meet with the queen.

"I'm proud of your accomplishments. You've all done really well. You're now official members of the Vortaak military." the queen said. She gave them their medals and certificates that said, "I survived the Vortaak Games of 1989". The new recruits bowed, and shook hands with the leading officers. After the ceremony, the Vortaak continued their invasion plans.
