Walking through the woods of Beacon Hills feels free in this moment. But I can almost feel the ropes keeping me from getting diverted off the course of my mission.

In a quiet part in the centre of the woods was just the boy I was looking for, I focused on his trachea and squeezed it, a completely harmless initiative to make him a completely harmless beast.

He looked so angry but frightened but confused all at the same time. "Now don't piss yourself, I'm not going to eat you, ew that's gross, I just need to know a few things okay"

He looks so chary as I take his hand to read all of the hidden messages of his mind and memories. I see flashes of him, he has a pack, an alpha, a school, a mum and a sort of dad (as they are), a best friend, an alpha, an alpha. Stop. Before I get carried away with the glimpses of biceps under black leather jackets I take my hand away. I know what he is.

"Wow your a weirdo on many levels, not quite on my level but your like almost a quarter ways there, congratulations." The young wolf gives me a strange look like I'm a crazy person, thanks guy, 'does invisible mind curtsey'.

"Its Scott right" I ask, he gives a small nod, "okay Scott, I need your alpha because my ... alpha", that felt weird to say but also kind of true. Scott's head snaps to look at me "you have an alpha?!"

I think about it whilst looking up at the leaves on the trees."Something like that Scotty".

As I walked through the woods with Scott, there was that leash always looming around my neck. Papa had gotten one of his newest toys to trick my mind. I couldn't eat or drink anything until my mission was done; and it was my hardest one yet. Maybe because I was getting too attached to this freeing sense of danger I seeked from the wolves (or maybe just a certain one). But I felt the leash pull me back every time my mind leaned too far in.

I was exhausted. The feeling of thirst was creeping over me. After telling Scott to take me to Derek he lead me through the trees to a large clearing with a half burned down house in the middle.

'Well that's not creepy', I declared sarcastically.

'He should be here, let's go.' Scott replied. I nodded and followed him inside. My senses were completely on alert, searching for any signs of life. 'This guy's good', I thought to myself.

But as soon as I thought it I felt his presence behind me, watching, wondering, waiting...
