Hello, I thought it would be helpful for you as the reader to know what is happening and when this book takes place.
The setting is New Moon, unlike the books, the Cullens leave because of Bella's behavior (she is not the cannoj version) and actions.
Sam is the alpha of the pack, just like in the books and is the first to phase but unlike the books he never imprints on Emily. He still breaks up with Leah because they never imprint on one another.
Emily gets her face clawed by Sam when she confronts him about dumping Leah and she now just sticks around to help protect the pack. It's currently unclear what her feelings for Sam are, whether romantic or platonic.
The rest of the Quileute Boys and Leah are majorly cannon, with the obvious exception being that they all imprinted on the same person, the main protagonist of this fan-fiction.
