They don't call me smart for a reason. I quickly run towards the door. That has to be the safe zone.
I was quick and careful, looking everywhere if the horse was nearby. Chishiya catches up by walking. "You are smart. You didn't even hesitate to start moving." I look back at him and give him a cheeky smile. "I surprise myself too."

Five minutes remaining.

Chishiya and I finally made our way to the floor but stop in our tracks when we heard shots again. Yells of Aguni were heard. Shit. He can't die. "They seem far away. We should be okay." But Aguni isn't! I can trust him though. He's strong. There's no way he'll die in a game like this. Walking towards our target, the bed hair kid rushed in. "So you realized that too?" I asked. "Yes. The safe zone is in this apartment." He put his hands on the knob but didn't open it. He just stood there. Chishiya seems to be running out of patience as well as putting pressure on the kid. "Aren't you going to open it?"

"Why did the tagger chase us? They could have just waited here." He did have a point. However, if the horse did wait here, no one would run here, meaning they wouldn't be able to shoot anyone. "Seems like there's something else we don't know." I took out the phone and shove it down the boys' throats since they continued to talk, and not open the door. "You, bedhead. If you don't open it..." He looks at me with eyes of fear, but calm.

Three minutes until the game concludes

I am not dying like this. I don't have time.
I push the guy towards our side and open the door from my left, letting the door open with nothing in the front. In case some threat were to be in there. After a couple of seconds of pure nothing, I open it fully and went inside, the two following behind. It was dark in here. Empty as well. But I felt like I was suffocating.

Anxiety was getting the best of me I quickly turned around, twice as I realized I was right. "Look out!" Shots were fired but we all suck down. Chishiya took out his, music player, only to reveal it to be a taser. We got up, trying to catch our breaths. "So that's what that was..." He nods. "It never hurts to be prepared-" Fuck! The gun was raised and they didn't hesitate to shoot. My instincts started to kick in and quickly ran to the exit.

"If there's one thing that school shootings thought me, was to run for your fucking life, and go straight to the nearest exit. Leave everything. You come first. Use anything to block the bullets."

Staying wasn't going to help unless you either play dead. However, that situation won't help. I guess my dad's tips did work after all. Chishiya quickly closes the door, blocking the bullets. Bed hair was still in.
"SOMEONE, PLEASE COME OVER! THE SAFE ZONE IS IN APARTMENT 406! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO CLEAR THE GAME ALONE! WE NEED TWO PEOPLE TO DO THIS!"

"Seriously?" Of course, they didn't make this easy.

Time remaining, one minute.

Shit... shots were heard once I open the door, going back inside. "Come on Chishiya!" He quickly got up and for a while, we didn't hear anything except grunting. "Wait here." He sees the door open and decides to look but bullets came flying his way, quickly backing out. "The door isn't our safest option right now." "So we're just going to die?!" I yell.
"SOMEONE!" Fuck, things are getting stressful now. "PLEASE COME HELP!"
