i was pulling into the school parking lot on my first day until i heard the car behind me honk at me. i turned around to see a van full of teenagers.
god this parking lot is so confusing.
i pull into a parking spot, only for the van to park right next to me. i make awkward eye contact with the blonde boy sitting in the passenger seat. i quickly get out of my car and get to my first class so i don't have to talk to them.
i was roaming the halls when i heard the first bell ring.
great. late on my first day. cant even find my first class.
after about another 3 minutes of searching, i finally found my first class.
"hello, sorry for being late it's my first day" i said to my teacher after i walked into the room.
"name?"
"y/n y/l/n"
"welcome to the obx, you can have a seat right next to mr. maybank" he says, pointing at the open seat.
i look over to where he's pointing and see the blonde boy, trying to hide the smirk from plastering all over his face. i walk over to my seat and drop my backpack and sit down.
the boy leaned over and whispered in my ear, "y/n, pretty name"
"i would say the same if i knew yours"
"jj. jj maybank" he says proudly
"well nice to meet you jj" i say smiling at him
he is cute.
"you got plans later today?" he asks during the end of class
"i just moved here, i know no one. why would i have plans. the only thing i could possible be doing would be unpacking boxes" i reply, smiling at him
"well since your so busy unpacking boxes. i will keep my offer to myself" he teases
"jj maybank. please tell me" i beg
"me and my friends are going down to the beach tonight. nothing huge. probably just going to drink some beer and smoke some weed" he says casually.
i look at him, thinking about what he just said.
"here, how bout i give you my number and you can let me know" he says writing his number down on a piece of paper
he hands it to me as soon as the bell rings
"see ya later blondie" i say as we turn opposite ways down the hall
