Chapter 3

"Asako-chan's stage name will be....."

Everyone arrives as they lean closer....

".... Karasuno's Shy Secret."

Everyone thinks about the name as they all agree with the name. "so we have the strongest decoy, Guardian Diety and Karasuno's Shy Secret." Then as we continue practise, Noya-San asks Tobio "what school did you and Asako-chan come from?" "Kitagawi Daichi." "Seriously?? No wonder you've got a serve like that!!" "Noya-San?" I raise my hand a little high as he looks in my direction "y-yes!" "Why did you come to Karasuno?" "I came to Karasuno because....."

"I liked the girls' uniform A LOT! But the girls went beyond my expectations!" He then runs to Kiyoko-San as she slaps him on the face!! "Is Asahi-san here?" "No not yet." "that coward!! If he's not coming back then neither am I!" Noya-San walks out the door but I see Hinata walking after him as I follow from behind.

"Please teach me how to do receives!!!" "Please teach Hinata how to do receives!!" I run beside him as I say "you're a libero, right?" "Yes! Why? Cause I'm short." "no. you're not libero because you're short, it's because you're good at receiving right?"

"You know a lot." "and Daichi-San calls you Guardian Deity. Please teach Hinata how to do receives.. Noya.... no... Nishinoya-senpai~!" Noya-San turns bright red and stands there shocked!!

"...You.... after practise, I'll definitely teach Hinata how to do receives for you cause I'm.... your.... senpai!!" I then go back to the gym to change for practise.

~after practise~
"It goes saa... and then suu... like that... then pon! That's it." I tried to help explain it to them but it was useless, so I practised my receives, spikes and serves. Then Hinata says "who is Asahi-San?" I stopped Hinata... don't say it so casually....

"Asahi-San is Karasuno's Ace.. or he should be.." "I wanna be an ace!" "Well, that's awesome! You wanna do it cause it's really cool, right!! Awesome that's great!! Do it! Become an ace!"

Noya-San was loud but explained to Hinata how cool a libero was. "What's your special skill?" "D... coy...De...decoy." Then Noya-San explains to him again that it's not about having cool nicknames and it's that the decoy can make the spikers spike easily while the decoy is distracting the blockers.

As Tobio, Hinata and I were walking around school "wait Asahi!!" We three hear as we go to the direction and see a tall brunette by the name of Asahi!!

Sugawara-San appeared from behind him "what are you guys doing here? These are the 1st years who just joined recently Kageyama, Asako-chan and Hinata."

"Hello." "hello!" "Hi~!"

Asahi-San pats us on our shoulders as he says "good luck, and do your best." I was taken back as I say "eh? Aren't we gonna do our best together?" He then walks away as he says "....sorry.... I'm no ace."

Then Sugawara-San explains to us about what happened... "wait practise will be starting!! You guys go ahead!! I'll come too!"

We run to practise as we enter.... "Rolling Thunder!!!" Noya-San says as he does a normal recieve!! Everyone was laughing but Hinata was impressed!!

Then Take-San walks in as he asks Daichi-San "you're doing the golden week training camp right?" "Yes, we still need a lot of work." "I've scheduled a practise match for the final day of golden week training camp!!"

"A-a-against who!!" I ask excited "Against Nekoma High!" Hinata, Tobio and I made a plan to get Noya-San and Asahi-San to work together again.

We approach Asahi-San as I said a bit too loud "Asahi-San! If you don't come back the 2nd and 3rd years won't be happy!!! That's why."

Tobio lightly slaps me on the arm "you're too loud." "But I still got the image of the blockers blocking my spike that haunts me." "but I understand what you mean even though I'm a 1st year shortie,this guy!" I hold Tobio's arm as I continue talking "could toss me tosses that were quick and cool, I can evade even the tallest blockers!!! When they disappear, I can see everything on the side of the net so clearly!! And then when I spike the ball..... oh..... the feelings great!!"

"That's why they call you the ace because you made more spikes than them being blocked!!"

The school bell rings as Tobio drags Hinata and I away and a wave bye.

As I was stretching out with Noya-San, I see some guy come in.... Take-San comes in as he says...
"Starting today, your new coach will be... Ukai-kun!" I run up to him as he then says "I want to see what players you are so I set up a game at 6:30! I've already called your opponents, the Karasuno neighbourhood association team!" "!!!"

Then a group of people came "that must be them!" "it's time to start!" "Asahi-San!" I hear Hinata yell out as I check out the window and see him!! Then Asahi-San was forced to play as the teams were....

Team 1: Hinata, Koemi, Kageyama, Tsukishima, Tanaka and Daichi
Team 2: Azumane, Shimada (?), Mori, Uchizawa (?), Takinque (?), Nishinoya, Suagwara
