How the kitten got its glowing eyes

There was once a beautiful forest where animals of many kinds lived. They would do what they needed to do during the day, in the evening they'd gather up around the Great River and collect water. At night every house was to be locked to keep safe. Everyone had a different type of home. Kitten lived in a big tree. Kitten was mischievous, but her mother teaches her to be a good kitten. She Even made a poem: Kittens must be good, They do as they should, Kittens must be good, Like nobody could. When the other animals go to the Great River they leave the younger animals at home, so kitten has never been there.

Today kitten was happy to visit her friend, owl. Owl came in flying. They started drawing and they drew each other. Then they dressed up and owl dressed like Papa and kitten dressed like Mama as if they were going to work. They did many fun things that day. In the evening owl decided he should get going. Kitten felt bored afterwards so she decided to go to owl even if it was against the rules. She arrived at owl's home and told him that they should go to play in the inner woods. Owl was scared to but Kitten convinced him. At first they were having fun but then owl felt tired so he flew home and kitten decided to stay. She then also wanted to go but then she was lost. She could suddenly see better. She looked at pointing signs but she couldn't read so she followed the pointing direction. She stumble across the great river. She looked at her reflection and saw her glowing eyes. She was frightened at first but she could see better. She ran home and everyone in the village was happy she finally came back home. She told her mom the story
