Chapter 2 - Daleks in England

The Daleks have invaded England in search of the sonic screwdrivers signal, that Junior accidentally triggered after hearing stories when he was younger and now seeing them face to eye stalk, Junior takes the courageous step and follows in his fathers footsteps. With Dylan and his family hidden in the building Junior steps out and faces the Dalek alone.

Thinking of his new friends safety Junior tells Dylan to stay in doors while he deals with the Dalek on patrol.

"What do you want!" Junior screams to the dalek, it then turns to face Junior, scanning him realising he is not of this world, "We scanned Sonic technology in this region and we demand surrender!" " We? Who is we?" Junior asks with curiosity. The Dalek refuses to answer Juniors question and then screeches "You are the descendent of The Doctor! You will be exterminated!" Junior laughs and reminds the Dalek of who they are threatening and proclaims "My Father is The Doctor, yes you are right but just think of how many times he has put you in your place! Think of all the times he has made you shake in your shell! And just ... just think before exterminating me with that tiny squid brain of yours who will come after you if you kill the only descendent of The Doctor!" The Dalek looks on at Junior and does not say a word. Two more Daleks arrive and then screech "You and your companion will be taken to the Parliament of the Daleks! You will be judged and clarified" Junior looks on with confusion "Parliament of the Daleks since when we're you all into politics? What is really going on here?!" The Daleks reply, "You will follow" Junior and Dylan then followed the Daleks to Parliament and realised the Daleks have actually taken over Parliament hence the name, but outside the parliaments doors there stood hope, there stood something Junior never thought he would see! An unpiloted TARDIS just stood outside which then gave Junior some strong hope his parents were around but nowhere to be seen.

"Dylan look! It's the TARDIS" Junior whispered Dylan looked to the Police Box. "You mean that little blue box thing? That is what you are looking for?!" Dylan Questioned.

"No, it's the people possibly inside, my people" Junior said emotionally, "but it just looks dead unused... invisible... somethings wrong!"

The Dalek clicks that Junior is not paying attention to where he is going "You will move! ... Move!" The Dalek screeches, Junior and Dylan continue to follow the Daleks into Parliament, Then they both see something so impossible, "I heard stories about you! You should be dead!" Junior screams! Dylan looks at Junior, sees the emotion in his eyes... "Who is that he asks" Junior turns to Dylan with worry in his eyes. "
"I should of known when the Daleks said Parliament and judgement! There is only one in control of the Daleks who has the power to do that kind of thing!" "Junior...Who is he!?" Dylan questions.

"Davros... his name ... is Davros... and he is more evil than you could ever imagine! You shouldn't be here Dylan I have put you in danger and I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! But I don't know what to do!"

"The Child of the TARDIS I presume" Davros states "I met your Father a long time ago, That destroyer of worlds, he has many names but you! You are something much more different, much more powerful, you are mighty clever, but to end up in my presence is just like your father, your pride, ego and ability to be arrogant is just like your father! Unchanged, and yet still no different to my perspective!"

Junior looks on and listens to Davros's story about his Father and how he was or is, But there is one main question that is currently on Juniors mind is "Why do you have the TARDIS here!? Where are my parents Davros!? What have you done!?"

"Oh your Fathers fury I see inside you, the burn of the Time Vortex itself, you how the whole power of the Medusa  Cascade in your eyes! Forged in fire, passion and adrenaline, Tell me Child what do you feel?"

Juniors eyes begin to inflate with empathy and passion, the conversation of his father sparked something inside him that he has never ever get before, the burn of time, the control of the Vortex, but like his father he has to maintain control he has the fury of a TimeLord which the Daleks need.

Davros chuckles "You have a choice Child what would your father do? Choose Junior, show your true self!"

Junior slips his hand into his pocket and whispers to Dylan "On my signal run!" Dylan replies, "Which way?" Junior just smiles and says "Trust me to the left look!" Dylan nods but doesn't make it obvious.

"You see Davros you're right! I'm exactly like my Father, in all ways shapes and sizes, you know even in the mind I'm the most clever being in the Universe yeah I've heard all the stories since I was in the cradle, my Father told me all the stories of his adventures and wins, losses, his pains, his gains all
Of it! But after all this time not just with me, but my father too you seriously haven't learned have you!?"

Davros looks to Junior in confusion...
Junior Continues
"You see one thing you always miss is me and my father have something in common, you should never let us Timelords keep talking because we may just have a trick up our sleeves"

"Like what!" Davros questions followed by you don't have an ounce of hope here you are surrounded!
Junior smiles " well that's where you are wrong! You called me The Child of The TARDIS which means I was born on it, and it's Parked right outside also with nobody in it which mean I can do this!"

Junior subtly uses his sonic while being in range to call the TARDIS to him remotely,

"Exterminate them!" Davros screams but before the blasts could hit them the TARDIS materialises around them.

"You have got to be kidding me how did you know how to do that!?" Dylan proclaims to Junior.

Sarcastically replying "I'm the child of the TARDIS the clue is in the name, now all I have to do is try and fly this thing"

While stuttering in shock Dylan says "it's ... it's Bigger on the inside! How is that even possible!"
"Try not to go mad" Junior chuckles "Anyway let's see if we are still connected!" (Junior looks at the screen on the console) "Ohhhh Father is so clever...
He's locked it and I don't know how to unlock it" The TARDIS recognises Junior and plays a message from the man himself.

The TARDIS portrays a holographic message from
The Doctor and River Song.

"Junior, if you find the TARDIS just know we know you are not trained to fly it yet, we will find you, or better still you will find us, we haven't forgotten you, we lost you by mistake (by this time The Doctor plays a video of what happened when Junior had fallen out of The TARDIS) We have been searching for you and we know if you are anything like us you will want to save the planet, we are currently stuck at the end of the Universe but we have programmed the TARDIS to give you something, a present from your Mother and I, please take care of them and don't lose them! We are counting on you to protect the Earth while we are away. The TARDIS can't travel to this universe because she will just die out and we will lose her forever, just leave at these co-ordinates all you need to do is pull the regulator, and push the blue stabiliser button she will take you some place safe, the Earth is filled with things you will have to solve alone or with a companion! We are sure you have found one by now! Good luck you have power for one journey alone but these items should help! Be safe. We will be with you sometime!"

Just before the message ended River song stepped into the Hologram and said "Sweetie, don't be like your father and please take off the handbrake before you set course, good luck my child!"

The Hologram ended.
Junior picked up the items which were a new Sonic screwdriver and the last Vortex Manipulator and strapped it to his wrist.  He then gives his old sonic to Dylan and says " welcome aboard we do this together!"

And pulled the regulator, the hand brake and stabilisers "are you ready!" Dylan smiles and nods
"As my Father would say... GERONIMO!" Junior pulls the lever and  The TARDIS takes off for its one Journey to get them to safety.

And their Journey begins!
