hey guuuys. author here, just wanna give you guys a good ending instead of just leaving it so, things move fast not because im lazy, i just have a lot to do and ideas pop and disappear because of the work i do, so hopefully I'll be able to ACTUALLY finish this book

Panic and scared, Y/N looked down on the pregnancy test on her hands. She was also excited, but a bit startled. She didn't know whether to cry or cheer so she did both.

Which the Onceler of course heard and ran inside the bathroom to see what she was fussing about.

And his face lit up as he took a glance of the test.

That's why she was feeling sick every morning or eating a lot of sugar, which was rare for Y/N seeing as she isn't the type to eat chocolates often.

He hugged her and gave her kisses as the two laughed at pure happiness. They're gonna be parents.

The news spread fast and their mothers worked faster as they planned a baby shower. Y/N denied it at first because she wanted to know the baby's gender at birth but after a lot of persuasion from Onceler, she agreed.

It's been a good 4 months, and 7 months since they were married. A lot has happened, but this was one of the unforgettable one.

As Y/N walked to the venue, cameras flash, she, at this point got used to it. And the Onceler was a bit concerned but he too acted like the cameras aren't even there.

"Micah! It's been so long!" Y/N cried as she hugged her assistant and current mayor of HueCity.

"I can see that." They pointed to her stomach to which both laughed at.

"How's everything in HC?" Y/N asked, a hand on her belly. "Everyone is ecstatic ma'am." Micah said, a bit excited.

Y/N smiled, no words can express how happy she's been feeling, but she's still sort of irritated with her hormones as she was pregnant.

"How have you been, Y/N?" Micah asked softly, a friendly smile on their face. Y/N beamed at the question, ready to spill everything to her best friend slash assitant slash now mayor of HueCity.

"He didn't!" Micah laughed as Y/N told them how the Onceler fell in a ditch as they once walked through their garden in the middle of the night.

Y/N couldn't sleep. Other than the back pains of carrying the baby 6 months in, she also couldn't sleep with the fact that she's gonna be a mother after 3 months.

She never saw it coming, she did, but not this fast.

She tossed and turned, groaning and moaning quietly to try and not wake her husband but he soon stirred awake, "what's wrong love?" he asked her softly, his voice low and tired.

"Can't sleep.." she sighed.

Onceler hummed, "i'm sorry i woke you." Y/N apologise but Onceler shaked his head, "no, no, it's fine." he slowly sat himself up with his elbows. "you know what I did when I can't sleep?" he pushes the duvet away from him slowly before rubbing his eye and getting up.

"Come on," he walked to the other side and took Y/Ns hands despite her confused quires of "what are you doing?"

The two sooner ended by the river at the truffula forest. "It calmed me." Onceler explained, sitting next to his wife who watched barbaloots sleep and snore softly on the other side of the river streaming down to a waterfall. a magnificent sight that calmed her tense aura.

"I can see why." she smiled softly leaning her head onto his shoulder. "I never expected all this to happen." she says.

"I never imagined me, marrying you, and falling in love with you. I always saw myself as someone who'll die in power and glory all alone, never knowing whats more important other than money. I never thought of even having a child, to love and pass down my stories."

she whispered to him.

"i never imagined me to fall for you either," he tucks a strand of her hair behind her ears, yawning a bit. "I also never even thought of anything else but money, but you were there to remind me that money is a necessity but never the reason why we are alive." he says ever so softly, like an angel comforting the grief.

"The stars have never been brighter with you by my side." he smiled softly, eyes slowly betraying him as he fell tired, "You are an angel." he kissed her temple to which she hummed in contentment.

they were about to doze off until the Onceler leaned forward and fell into the water.

He yelped that it woke the birds in the fluffs of the trees. Y/N crying out for him, but not before holding back a snicker.

"ITS SO COLD!" He cried.

"He did!" Y/N laughed at the story like she always did.

The Onceler had approached her and whispered something to her ears which made her jump in excitement and Micah immediately know why.

"Nervous?" The Onceler asked Y/N who held a box that was wrapped in yellow. "I hope its a boy." Y/N grinned as her mother had started to yell the countdown.

The Onceler and Y/N slowly unwrapped the gift box to reveal a thneed in the colour..

but it's not only one thneed however, another one was in the colour blue.

"what?" Y/N whispered confused. "You're joking?" the Onceler asked his mother who rolled her eyes, his hands placed on top of Y/Ns shoulder as they figured out if they were being pranked or they need to make a guess.

"You guys are having twins!" Isabella yelled.

"Twins?!"
