Kevin (moonbae) 💕🏳️‍🌈

"Kevin, are you okay?" Sangyeon asked after he's seen the younger press a finger to his temple for the tenth time since they started practice.

"Yeah, it's just a small headache, hyung" Kevin answered honestly, after all it really wasn't hurting that much, he could endure it.

"You sure? You can take a break if you want"

Kevin nodded and flashed a smile at the leader before getting back to his position for The Stealer. He hadn't noticed, though, someone else had been watching him since the beginning. Jacob was worried about his boyfriend, he saw how Kevin looked like he just needed to close his eyes and sleep for a whole day. The two boys slept together most nights, and Jacob knew Kevin hadn't been sleeping well. He felt every single time when the younger would get up in the middle of the night and only come back minutes before they were supposed to wake up, and he was worried. This has been happening for almost two weeks.

When practice ended, a few members sat on the floor, catching their breath before they had to leave. Kevin dropped to the floor too, except he actually lay down sprawled and breathing heavily. Jacob walked to him and sat down next to the younger's head and started petting his hair.

"Cobie, I'm tired..." Kevin whispered and closed his eyes, enjoying the touch as it relaxed him and relieved his headache a bit.

"I know, baby. Let's go home, okay?"

Jacob helped Kevin get up and held the younger by the waist the whole walk to the car, supporting most of his weight. Everyone was really tired, but they all noticed Kevin wasn't like them, he was clearly on a different level of exhaustion.

Once they arrived at the dorm, Jacob dragged Kevin to "their" room and closed the door. He closed the curtains and gently grabbed Kevin's hand, bringing him to the bed.

"Let's take a nap, okay? I'll tell the others so no one wakes you up" Jacob lay down and brought Kevin to his chest, leaving a kiss on his forehead. "How's your headache?"

"Still here, but it's not that bad..." Kevin shifted a bit and sighed "I'll just get up, I won't be able to sleep anyway"

He started to get up, but Jacob held him so gently, looked so deeply in his eyes, that Kevin stopped immediately and slowly lay back down.

"But..."

"I know you're tired and having trouble sleeping, baby. Let's lay here for a bit, alright? Even if you don't sleep at least your body will get some rest"

Kevin hesitated, but eventually nodded. He missed cuddling with his boyfriend. He always left at night as to not wake Jacob up from moving too much, and their schedules have been hell recently, so they barely spent time together. Kevin got comfortable again, though he was clearly tense, and felt Jacob play with his hair.

"Relax for me, Kev. You've been more stressed this comeback, what's wrong?" Jacob said in the sweetest voice Kevin has ever heard.

"I... that's the problem, I don't know what's wrong... I guess I'm just not having the best weeks mentally"

Jacob nodded and hugged Kevin tightly. He drew circles in the younger's back until he had an idea.

"Kev, can I try something?"

Kevin nodded and felt Jacob getting up. He was about to protest when he saw him coming back with his guitar. The older noticed the confused look in his boyfriend's face and chuckled a bit, sitting against the headboard.

"I'll sing for you. All you have to do is clear your mind and relax"

The sweet melody of "Yellow" echoed around the room and Kevin smiled shyly, his cheeks getting a little red.

Kevin laid his head on Jacob's shoulder, getting comfortable in an almost laying down position.

Jacob looked at the younger and saw him closing his eyes, an adorable smile adorning his face. He knew Kevin wasn't asleep yet, but he was trying and Jacob was glad.

And it was called yellow

Jacob felt more weight on his shoulder, which meant Kevin had relaxed and fallen asleep. He kept playing a little longer to make sure the younger was in a deep sleep, and when he finished, he put his guitar aside and carefully lay Kevin down, cuddling him.

"Goodnight, baby, I love you" Jacob whispered and with a kiss on Kevin's forehead, he fell asleep too.
