the h/c girl combed her hair as she turned off her bedroom lights, walking towards her bed and grabbing her phone from her bed side before laying herself down on her bed.
turning her phone on, she immediately clicked on her discord app so she and ryan could start watching.
five minutes later...
"hey." y/n said.
ryan waved. "hey y/n."
"are you fine with howl's moving castle?" she asked.
he nodded as he stood up from his bed to turn off the lights and went back to his bed.
it was already ten o'clock in the evening. yes, it was supposed to be earlier but the h/c girl had a sudden errands with isshie that's why both of them decided to moved it.
"howl is really handsome." y/n mumbled.
"he is." ryan agreed, chuckling.
the h/c girl started to play the movie. both of them were quite and focused on watching though most the time both of them exchange glances across the screen without noticing it.
as time passed by, both of them find themselves talking and giggling each other comfortably while watching the movie. as the movie ended, they still remained on call.
"i swear to god, howl is really handsome at the same time gorgeous!" she ranted.
ryan laughed. "you keep saying that throughout the movie y/n."
"i can't stop myself from it, ry." y/n pouted.
he stared at the girl across his screen for a while. lips pouting and eyes sparkling. he was mesmerized by her ever since with their actual proper meeting.
"are you okay ryan?" the h/c girl asked.
ryan responded with a hmmm.
"are you sure?" she asked again.
ryan chuckled. "yeah, i was just staring at you. you're cute y/n."
a blush immediately spread across her cheeks making ryan let out a laugh as he saw the girl covering her face.
"what the heck are you saying?" she said looking away from the screen.
"i was saying that you're cute." ryan repeated as he yawn.
y/n playfully rolled her eyes, shrugging off the butterflies on her stomach and unfamiliar feeling she got.
"you're cute too, ryan." y/n said, making ryan smile.
'what the fuck.' y/n thought while staring at him on the screen. 'his smile is so beautiful..'
"really?" ryan asked.
y/n nodded and smiled. "you're cute, handsome, stunning, and very nice." counting every words she said with her fingers.
ryan giggled as a response and as time passed by, he found himself drifting off to sleep.
silence...
"ryan?" y/n called out.
the h/c girl didn't received an answer from ryan.
she took a glance on her alarm clock to check the time. it was almost twelve o'clock in the midnight. she turned back to her screen and saw ryan moving before she heard his heavy breathing.
'is he sleeping?' y/n thought.
"sleep well ryan, goodnight." y/n yawned before smiling.
and with that, the h/c girl also drifted off to sleep, forgetting that she has to end the call.
