(Your P.O.V)
After a long while of walking, Kumiho froze and grabbed onto my arm to hold me back. I looked over at her, confused. She held a finger to her lips and flicked her ears forward. I nodded and we slowly made our way forward.
We passed through a door and into large room; a cafeteria. I was confused as to why Kumiho would be concerned about a cafeteria, but in the end I didn't question it, her hearing was probably better than mine.
At the far end of the cafeteria I saw what concerned my friend: A D-Class had himself pressed against a wall, obviously trembling with fear. What was really concerning was the thing he was cowering from.
The peanut-like statue was towering over the D-Class, just waiting for him to blink. We came closer.
"Aww, come on! Blink damnit! Please? For me~?" 173 was trying to persuade the D-Class to blink, but the man only cursed at the statue. I watched as a tear fell from the mans eye, struggling not to blink. It wouldn't be long before the D-Class gave in.
"173! Que pasa mi amigo?" I called out to the statue, advancing forward. Kumiho followed after me and nervously grabbed onto my arm, glaring at SCP-173. {(A/N) What's up my friend}
"Hi SCP-666, do you and SCP-953 mind looking away for a moment? I can tell this d-boi is close to blinking!" The neck-snapping statue responded. I only nodded and turned around, Kumiho following suit. A moment later a loud 'snap' sounded behind us, then the scraping of stone on the tile floor. Me and Kumiho whirled around in time to see 173 in front of us.
"Are you guys looking for a way outta this shithole? Maybe we could find 682 and bust our way outta here!" I could only chuckle at 173's idea.
"As much as I agree to that, its not gonna be that easy. We need a Level 5 keycard to get to his cell and I only have Levels 1 and 2." I chastised. "Besides, I thought I told to call me (Y/N)?"
"Eh, must've forgot or somethin."
"Pinche pendeja," {A/N(Fucking asshole)}
"Perhaps you could be useful and snap the neck of someone with a Level 5 keycard?" Kumiho spoke up, having remained quiet until now. I covered my mouth with a hand to stifle my laugh.
"Bet!" The statue said, excited to prove his use. Me and Kumiho looked away, allowing 173 to speed off in search of said victim. Kumiho turned to me, smiling.
"I saved us the trouble of having to deal with him. I've met 173 before and he never stopped talking! So annoying, right?" She told me, and I giggled, nodding my agreement.
We passed the dead D-Class as we exited, his neck was twisted at an unnatural angle. As we made our way down another hallway, I realized that we were approaching some Euclid Class SCP cells. Kumiho suddenly stopped and slapped a hand over my mouth, her tails quivering.
The Korean woman quickly led me into the closest room, and then into the containment cell. Looking around, I spotted a table off to the side, with several syringes and scalpels all alined in a perfect order. The room smelled a bit like a doctors's office.
"Search the containment chamber!" A stern and commanding voice sounded from the hallway, and then the sound of heavy footsteps. Kumiho and I quickly darted under a table, and huddled up against each other.
"Oh my," An unfamiliar voice spoke. As soon as the MTF entered the room, long black robes filled my field of vision. Lithe arms wrapped around my waist as Kumiho snuggled into my side.
"SCP-049, you are to remain in your cell until everything is back under control, understood?" One MTF guard ordered, and then who I presumed was SCP-049 hesitated for a moment, then spoke: "I sense you are sick. Let me help you, sir." I honestly felt a bit relaxed by his smooth voice. The sound of armor clad feet shuffling back, then the commanding voice spoke.
