Eula's POV

I woke up way too early (I actually barely slept) that when I went to get some water, the clock on the fridge said 3:12 am. I went back upstairs when I heard music from somewhere. I followed it and I ended up in front of a room just two doors from mine. The door is a bit ajar so I peeked inside and saw a tall figure sitting in front of a computer and a keyboard.

Chanyeol? How can I not know that his room is here?

I listened quietly at the slow melody coming out of the keyboard. I didn't know he can play. I leaned on the wall and closed my eyes. It's really relaxing. I took a deep breath but accidentally inhaled dusts, making me sneeze continuously. I tried to hide but I kept sneezing.

"Oh, Eula. Are you okay?" Chanyeol's voice made me jump even though I expected it.

When my sneezing feat stopped, I apologized to him and he just shrugged telling me it is okay.

"Hmm... what were you playing just know?" I asked not letting the air of discomfort take over.

"It's something I made. Would you like to hear it?" His face lightened up and I took note of his handsome features. I'm sure that many girls have thrown themselves in front of him before.

When I nodded, he took my hand and led me to his room. It's as big as mine but instead of a living room, a recording booth was set up. I looked around and saw an electric and an acoustic guitar, a grand piano and a keyboard. He also got a set of drums and one of those things that produced different kinds of sound effects. So this is what he does.

Chanyeol placed the headphones on me and played the song I was listening to a while ago. I can't help but smile at the sweet music which is a mix of keyboard and guitar. When I looked at Chanyeol, though, I froze. He was smiling at me like I was something precious.

The song ended and there was only silence. I suddenly became conscious of the fact that I am in a boy's room. Chanyeol took the headphones off me.

"Can I?" When I nodded, he gently tucked my hair behind my ear and patted my head. "You are very beautiful."

"Uh..." I said looking anywhere but him. "Luhan will disagree with you on that." I said nervously and he let out a loud a loud sigh which turned out to be a smile.

"That's not the right answer to compliments." He swayed his index finger at me. "You just say... Thank you." He held my chin up and he waited for me to say so.

"Huh... uh... well, thank you." I said blushing.

"Good." He said tearing himself from me and set up his keyboard. "Do you know how to play?"

I scrunched my eyebrows and turned to the keyboard trying to remember the things I learned from the orphanage. I positioned my fingers on the key of G and started playing a French folk song. When I finished, I looked at him a little embarrassed.

"Sorry, that's the only thing I know how to play." It's nothing compared to his skills.

"French. I also learned it from where I was from." He smiled and I remembered he is one of the adopted sons.

He started playing other children's songs and I sang with him knowing them all by heart. We laughed and told stories from our childhood and I fell completely at ease with him.

"I had one friend," I started, "His name is Jongdae. I never saw him quiet or sitting still. He's always this beagle who runs around and tells totally made up stories that sound very true."

"A troll." Chanyeol said and we both went into fits again.

"But he got adopted by a Chinese couple a few months before the orphanage closed. I met him a year later and apparently, he changed his name to Chen." My smile turned a little sad.
