"I can't believe you would accept that job!" Dawn's mother shouts.

"It's a good job and I want that promotion," Dawn said," I will not accept that Courteney is a better writer than me."

"But Coland is too dangerous," her mother wailed," what if you get hurt, or worse killed?!"

"Mom, I'm going to be fine, and I promise I'll stay out of trouble and not go digging my nose into anything that I shouldn't," Dawn exaggerated.

"Hunny, we can't keep Dawn from doing what she loves," her dad said," after all she is an adult now."

"But she is our daughter!" her mother shouted turning to argue with her father.

While her parents were distracted Dawn took the chance to sneak up to her room and start packing. She planned on going no matter what her mother said. Like her father said she was an adult now, they couldn't keep telling her what she could and couldn't do. Once she got her backpack full of clothes and other necessities. Tiptoeing back down the stairs Dawn looked around. She didn't see or hear her parents. They must have taken a walk or something. Dawn thought. After all, it was one thing her parents did when they started to argue. Or they would through things at each other if they got that angry at each other.

As she walked through town Dawn began to wonder how she was going to get to Coland. It would take far too long for her to walk there. And if her parents found put she walked to Coland she would never hear the end of it.

"Hey!"

Looking at who yelled Dawn saw Trixie waving at her from across the street. Making sure it was safe Dawn crossed the street and stopped by Trixie.

"What are you doing here?" Dawn asked.

"Well my dad owns the best carriages and tastes horses," Trixie said," thought you'd need a ride to Coland."

"I do actually, but I can't afford your father's carriage," Dawn said.

"That's why you're not going alone," Trixie said," now get in."

Confused by what Trixie said, Dawn climbed into the carriage.

"Your parents were arguing with you weren't they," Luke asked.

"Yes, and why are you guys here?" Dawn asked.

"We are going with you," Layla said," at least for a while."

Not able to control herself Dawn launched herself at her friends hugging them.

"Hey, no fair, I'm the one that got you the free ride," Trixie said.

"Well get in here then," Dawn said. Feeling Trixie joining in on the group hug Willow couldn't help but feel happy. She wouldn't have to make the trip by herself and not on her own damn feet. What more could she ask for.

"How far is Coland?" Trixie asked for the fifth time since they started on their way.

"We have at least another three hours until we get there," Luke answered.

"But we've been on the road for hours," Trixie whined.

"Trix, I love you, but if I hear you ask that again I'm going to throttle you," Dawn warned.

"And we've only been on the road for three and a half hours," Layla added. At that Trixie groaned.

"You didn't have to come you know," Dawn said.

"Then you would have had to pay for the ride," Trixie said," that's the deal I made with my dad if you were to get a free ride I had to tag along."
