Sibling Talk

F/N P.O.V

It was dark outside as I walked along the sidewalk towards my school. It was Midnight now... Thursday. Shannon called me a few days ago to tell me he wanted to talk in person and alone behind my school. Hell knows what he wanted to talk about, but I can't imagine it being any good. As I continued to walk... I felt the presence of someone else...

I stopped dead in my tracks as my Sacred Gear flashed onto my right arm.

"Whoever is following me... come out." I ordered with acid in my voice.

"What's with the seriousness?" A joking voice asked.

I turned around and saw... Saji!

"Dude, you scared the fuck out of me." I stated. "I thought you were Rias, or Sona."

"Whatever... where are you going?" He asked.

"How about... why are YOU following me?" I snapped.

"Because I came over to hang out with you and saw you climbing out your window using a bedsheet rope." He answered. "Now, tell me what YOU'RE doing."

I sighed.

"I'm going to talk with my brother, Shannon." I stated, and Saji went wide eyed. "He wants to talk... so I'll listen."

"DUDE! YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!" He exclaimed.

"I am... " I said. "So go home."

"No way in hell!" He snapped. "If shit goes bad... I'll be there to help!"

"The only thing you can help is yourself to a plate of chocolate." I deadpanned.

I turned away and started walking toward the school and Saji followed next to me, much to my dismay. Then we arrived at the school, where we saw Shannon, sitting on a rock smoking.

"Hey brother." He greeted. "... You brought a friend?"

"He followed me." I sighed. "Now... what the hell do you have to say?"

Shannon stomped on a burned out cigarette and lit a new one.

"Want one?" He offered, and we both shook our heads. "Suit yourselves."

He leaned back against his rock and sighed.

"F/N... I'm betraying my WHOLE alliance with Nova and Marco by telling you this... but here I go." He stated. "... do you know about the Ten Commandments?"

"I heard about them, yes... why do you ask?" I answered, and he puffed on his cigarette.

"They're coming..." Shannon stated. "And we're outnumbered..."

"Who are the Ten Commandments?" Saji asked, and we both looked at him.

"The Ten Commandments were the generals of God's army against Satan, like how the Seven Deadly Sins were Satan's generals." I explained.

"Indeed, and now the original Commandment's powers have been passed down to a new generation, just like our sin's powers were given to us." Shannon explained. "But the Ten Commandments aren't like us... they're not out there to kill one another... they're trying to kill us."

"Us...? As in... you guys?" Saji asked, and we both nodded.

"Those guys don't want us to have any power that surpasses God himself... so they'll wipe us all out and claim it for themselves." Shannon stated. "And the only way for us to stop them... is for the Seven Deadly Sins to work together..."

"Work together...?" I asked. "How about you just go fuck yourself?"

"Huh?" He asked with a blank face.
