Sebastian
Sebastian woke up confused the next morning as to why he was at his computer with his pants down. He was sore from his weird sleeping position and popped his back into place, looking at this computer screen to see many porn hub browser tabs open. He then remembered what happened last night and embarrassment consumed him again. He opted to take a long, hot shower to try to steam the humiliation out of him, but he knew eventually he'd have to talk to Maru, before she went to Demetrius.
After getting into a change of clothes and consuming a rather large cup of coffee, he set off down the hall towards Maru's room, hoping she wasn't busy or at work. He knocked at her door and waited to hear a response.
"Yeah?" He heard her voice call from inside.
"Can I come in?" He asked, nervously ringing his hands.
"Sure, the door is unlocked." She answered.
Sebastian walked in to see Maru sitting at her computer, leaning back in her gaming chair with a bowl of fruity pebbles, still in her nightgown, watching a robotics team competition on twitch on one of her many computer screens. Maru had a sick computer rig setup that she completely built herself with five monitors mounted on her desk, each displaying something different on a different screen. Sebastian was truly jealous of his half sister.
"Is this about last night?" She asked, muting the stream and turning around to face him.
"How long have you known?" He asked back, opting to look at his shoes, swallowing hard.
"I've known since you've been home, your room isn't exactly sound proof, you know." Maru said, taking a big spoonful of cereal in her mouth, continuing to talk while she crunched. "Sound carries, especially Abigail, and she won't shut the fuck up. Not to be rude, but you can't be THAT good."
Sebastian turned red at the thought of Maru being able to hear them for the last week and a half. He had snuck her in almost every night after that awkward first night at her parents house that led to him having to have breakfast with her parents the next morning. Pierre kept looking at him like he single handedly tainted his daughter and Caroline kept acting like she wasn't completely disappointed in the two of them while being completely disappointed in the two of them.
"But I've been doing you a solid though." Maru explained, hitting a few buttons on her computer keyboard to bring up security camera footage on one of her many screens, showing the inside of the house from the front door. "Dad had cameras installed a year after you left for college. We had a bit of a rowdy crowd at the fall fair that year and some drunk asshole threw a rock in one of our windows, so he installed cameras around the outside and one inside, that's the one I am showing you now. They have night vision and they start recording when they detect movement past eight at night."
"Oh." Sebastian said quietly, his mind screaming at him over what he did last night, especially with it being recorded. "So it's been recording every time I sneak Abigail in."
"Technically... yes." Maru answered, pulling up the video folder to see multiple different videos, but none showing him or Abigail. "But I've been replacing the video footage every morning with old footage. So when a certain stupid brother and his stupid horny girlfriend decide to be naturalists by the front door, the footage gets replaced... with something like this." She pulled up a video of Demetrius tripping and falling on the way to the bathroom.
"So, what happens to the actual video?" Seb asked, knowing Maru wasn't that much of a simp for saving for him. "You don't keep it, do you? To hold over my head?"
"It gets deleted." She said, offended he'd even think like that. "Why would I keep a video of that? You seriously think I'd blackmail you with that? I'm hurt you'd even think that of me, Sebastian."
"I'm sorry." He said with a sigh. "I just didn't know how loyal you still were to Demetrius. I didn't know if you were going to rat me out."
"For wanting to have sex with your girlfriend?" Maru asked. "Come on, Seb. You gotta think more highly of me than that."
"I dunno, you used to rat me out for less when we were kids." He said with a chuckle.
"Well... yeah... we were kids, getting you in trouble was a hobby back then." She said with a laugh. "But I'm grown now, Seb. Your secret is safe with me. Just don't... whip your dick out at the front door again. I don't need the mental scarring."
"So how much do I owe you for doing this for me?" He asked, knowing she was going to want to be at least compensated for saving his ass.
"Fifty bucks." She answered, going back to watching her robotics competition.
"Oh... that's not bad." He said, fishing out his wallet to pay her.
"A week." She added on. "But a hundred for last night. That was just stupid of you and you know it."
"Shit." He thought as he handed her over the money. "But I guess it's better than Demetrius finding out."
Heading back down the hall to his room to start his work, he saw they had a visitor to his moms shop. He thought he remembered his mother calling her Quinn, but all thought went out the window when she turned to look at him with her beautiful gray eyes. Time seemed to slow down as she stood there and he almost swore he heard distant wooden xylophone music playing. She was absolutely breathtaking, standing there in a skeleton shirt and black pants, her hair tied back in pigtails and her pale skin was starting to show signs of a growing tan. She was smaller than him, but not many people towered over him when he was easily six three.
"Robin's off today? Damn." She said with a sigh, looking at the closed sign on the counter. "My well is broken and I have no running water. I was hoping she could help me today, but I'll try again tomorrow."
"Uh... if you need anything like clean water or a shower... you can use our tap or our bathroom." He managed to get out, surprised he could even speak to her at all. He could barely even utter a sentence to his boss over his zoom orientation and he didn't cause his mind to go into a complete tailspin like she did.
"You really don't mind a complete stranger using your bathroom?" She asked, cocking her head at him.
He shrugged at her. "Mom said if you ever need anything, we'd help you out."
"A shower would feel amazing right about now." She agreed. "I could stand to feel human again."
He motioned for her to follow him down the hall, only to see Maru about to shut the bathroom door.
"Can Quinn shower real fast?" He asked her. "She doesn't have any running water at her place right now."
"I gotta be in the clinic in a half hour, Harvey called me in because he has a lot of appointments today, can't she use your own bathroom?"
"Uhhh... I... I guess." Seb said, mild panic in his voice at the thought of being semi alone with Quinn in his room. Hopefully his mother would not come home in the middle of it all and make it awkward. He turned to Quinn and asked, "Are you okay with that?"
Maru looked at him with a confused look on her face, probably picking up on the fact that he was actually speaking to someone he just met in semi full complete sentences, but she said nothing, shutting the bathroom door.
"If you're okay with it." She said.
She followed him back down the hall to the basement as he got out a towel for her use. Once she got into the bathroom, he sat at his computer and tried to busy himself with work to avoid thinking about her being naked in the shower because just thinking of it made him semi hard. He didn't want to think of her that way, it felt wrong. Like she was better than his perverted thoughts.
He got to work on his programming assignment for the day, trying real hard to think of something other than Quinn, because thinking of her made his head spin, but surprisingly in a good way. And yet his mind wandered to her. He wanted to know her favorite color, if she enjoyed comics, why she really moved to pelican town, her favorite type of music. There was definitely something about her that instantly drew him to her. And the most glaring thing of all was that Abigail never made him feel this way. He spent years avoiding her, dodging her advances, and eventually he just gave into her. Once the thought dawned on him, everything came to a screeching halt. Why didn't Abigail make him feel this way?
