RUN (Xicheng) SHORT STORY

Happy

"A-Ying,I will come back as soon as I buy your candy"he turned to her before leaving

"Okay,be careful"

Festival(night)

"Candy...candy...candy"he muttered while searching for candy stall

Found it.He stop in front of a stall

"Hello, young man do you want to buy some candy?"the vendor asked

"Yes.I will take one"he pay and walked back

When he walked back he saw a toy stall.He stop and look at the toys

"Hello,young man.Buy the toys your child will be happy"the vendor said

"I will take the grass butterfly and the drum thing"he said

"Sure,here you go"the vendor take the money and Jiang Cheng take the toys

He quickly run home and surprised Lin Ying when he back faster than she expected

"You're back"she smile at him

"Yes.I buy your candy and toys for a-Qing."he smile and look so excited as he handed the candy to Lin Ying

Lin Ying look at her son that still sleeping in her hand

"Why are sit outside it's chilly tonight.You dress thinly,you will get sick"Jiang Cheng put his robe on her shoulder and sit beside her

"It's boring inside and tonight there's a lot of star"she said looking at the sky while eating her candy

"Hmm, you're right"he stared at the sky

Letting the night breeze touching their face they stay outside for a moment

"Mnnh"Lou Qing start to squirm in Lin Ying hand

"I will hold him"Jiang Cheng the baby from her

"He must be cold, let's go inside"he said looking at her

"Mn"

They get inside and close the door.Started to play with the baby,talk about things and when it get late they go to bed.

Lou Yi village (festival night)

"Wanyin"Xichen said catch the attention of the other three people with him

"Jiu Jiu"

"A-Cheng"

They followed Jiang Cheng after they saw him buy a candy

"Jiu Jiu hate sweets"Jin Ling said

"Why is he buying toys?"Wei Wuxian started to get confused with his brother act

They followed him after he run they almost lost him but managed to follow him

"Jiu Jiu stay at this house?"

"You're back"hearing a woman voice make Jin Ling and Wei Wuxian look at each other.

They peek and see Jiang Cheng 'smiling' at  a 'woman' that holding a 'baby'

Seeing that scene Lan Xichen felt 'jealous'

"He look so happy"Wei mutter slow but enough for Jin Ling to hear

"Jiu Jiu have a baby.Is that why he go so sudden and tell us he won't be back for a month?"

"A-Cheng have a baby and we didn't know.Is he hiding it from us?"

Jin Ling and Wei Wuxian look at each other then turn to the couple on the porch

Wanyin family.Xichen felt hurt

They watch the couple until they get inside the house

"He hide his family from us?"Wei Wuxian eyes started to cry

"Wei Ying"Wangji hug his husband

"Does Jiu Jiu don't want me anymore because he have a baby now?"Jin Ling cried making Wei Wuxian felt sorry and hug him

"Let's go to the inn first,it's getting late"Wangji said to them

"Mn"Lan Xichen just agreed

"Jiang Cheng take a break because his wife is giving birth so he's staying here for a month?"

"May be that's why Jiu Jiu take a break.He always do the Sect work even when he's sick"

"Maybe we should ask him."Xichen said to the uncle and nephew

"Yes, let's do that.Maybe we misunderstood that something going on between Jiu Jiu and the woman."Jin Ling look at Wei Wuxian hoping that his Jiu Jiu to never leave him

"Alright.Let's asked him tomorrow.We should sleep, it's getting late"Wei Wuxian said after his nephew give a begging eyes at him

"Goodnight"Wangji said to his brother and Jin Ling before shoving them out of his and Wei Wuxian room
